Yes, there is indeed a Golden Warthog, but it can only be gotten through a mod chip.
Oh.. do you mean the civvilian hog?
no.. you cannot use it in the game, im not sure if you can with the mod chip..
tho thare is another way to play it,.. people have recreated it in the original halo...(for pc.. tyhe halo custom edition sorry x-box fanboys)
and the pc one ven has neon underlights and rims... oh teh rimz are teh awsome.(jokeing.. but they are cool)

the vehicle itself isnt really of any use because irs just 3 people in the hog, with no means of defence.. yuor better off with the original hog or gauss hog.
