Outer Sol System, The Prometheus. 12.23.2552

A lone ship exits Slipspace, arriving in the Sol System, Earth and the Defense Station Cairo dead ahead of the Prometheus. Covenant and UNSC Cruisers litter the space, battle worn, some ripped to shreds. Cairo Station still stood, though heavily damaged. It was oddly quiet, considering the Covenant and UNSC had been at war for some years now it all felt very eerie, something wasn't right.

The Prometheus housed Seven SPARTAN soldiers, all unconscious for unknown reasons. It was probable they were the only SPARTANs alive, but not even they knew, or if they would survive much longer. The ship was home to a small crew, all equally unconscious or dead. The outer hull of the ship was scarred from a battle, worn down and nearly dry of fuel.

It continued en route to Cairo Station, seemingly driven there to dock. The only active passenger was the ship's AI, Isis, who managed to take control of The Prometheus and bring it to dock at Cairo Station, luckily the ship was near the solar system during its slipspace jump, an odd rupture had nearly breached the hull, it was also likely that it had been the cause for the others current situation.

Even from space the visible ruins of Earth could be seen, such as burning fires, explosions were still occurring. Something had gone terribly wrong....

INTRODUCTION-

This is an action-mystery set in the Halo Universe. You and the surviving members of The Prometheus must battle through hordes of Flood and discover the truth about what occurred on Earth less than a month ago. There is devastation and death everywhere, can you survive to learn the truth, or will you perish?

In this game you play as one of the surviving members of the Prometheus. You have no idea what has caused the breach, or what the rupture actually meant. You have not been in contact with the UNSC for over several months. As such, there are only SEVEN SPARTANs that may be played as. I will be taking the spot of the SPARTAN Commander, so that leaves only SIX spots for the remaining SPARTANS.

RULES & GUIDELINES-

1- NO Godmodding. You may be a SPARTAN, but you will be forced to flee battles, you will take damage. If not careful you will die.

2- In the same respect, NO controlling of another players character in any given situation. Nor can you kill another player, we're all on the same side, you won't be shooting down team-mates.

3- As stated above, you can only be a SPARTAN, or a soldier for the UNSC. As such, there are only six available SPARTAN slots. The better the profile, the better the chance you have of being said SPARTAN. You CANNOT be a Covenant soldier, you can't be a member of any Covenant armada. So don't ask. And there are ONLY six SPARTANs, don't ask to be one if all SPARTAN slots are taken. I also ask that one of the six SPARTANs be a female, this is not a suggestion, it's required. This will hopefully change the SPARTAN dynamic a bit.

4- Game Master is law, anything I say goes, and I may overrule your posts aswell.

5- Be literate. There is no exception. If you cannot spell out the entire word, or use spaces and capital letters correctly, you will be removed from the game immediately. No questions asked.

6- All characters MUST be Original Characters, you cannot be related to any existing HALO character in any way.

7- Don't worry if you have never played HALO, everything you need to know to play this game will be posted. Guys and Girls may join, it's always more entertaining to mix things up.

8- This is a game based on HALO. All weapons, ships and items MUST be from the HALO universe. These weapons will be posted.

9- Become these characters, this is your life, let the game and its characters become real to you. Because if you don't give me anything to work with, then the game won't be as good. The players matter just as much as the Plot. And interaction is the key to a games survival, remember, become these characters.

10- Pay attention to other players, keep track of continuity in game, if you cannot do this you will be removed from the game. Or just don't join at all if you don't think you can pay attention.

11- If you join, then intend to play. Once the game begins, if you have not posted for a week, you will be removed from the game, and no, you will not be allowed to join again. The only exception to this is if you PM myself, Inner-Demon, informing me that you won't be able to post because you are leaving with something. This MUST be BEFORE you actually leave. If you come back telling me this it will not change, you will be removed for not informing me.

12- All Character Histories MUST be longer than three paragraphs. Along with that it is REQUIRED that you post, along with your Character Sheet, an In game post detailing a specific event of your character's past, something life-changing, it doesn't matter, it must involve your character and it must be of a fair length.

13- Relating to the length of in game posts, posts that look like this are NOT allowed:

It was a literate post, but it was short and pointless. All posts must be at least a paragraph to two paragraphs in length, longer is allowed. Anything short like above will not be allowed and you'll be removed from the game.

14- In each character sheet a password must be in the middle of the sheet, this password is Quarantine. If this is not in your character sheet, you will be denied approval.

15- Use IC, OOC, and TAG, if you do not know what they mean, here it is:

TAG- To Tag another playing you are talking with, when Tagging to speak with an NPC, tag Inner-Demon, since I will control ALL NPC's in the game. Also, TAG the player's User Name, not their Character's name.

16- This game has a mystery aspect to it, you can't know what has happened or what's going on. Your characters will discover this as the plot unfolds through my posts, depending on where you go and what you do.

Appearance: As per all Spartan-II, the modifications to 633's body have distorted his features. His gaunt, deep face is somewhat intimidating, his dark-brown eyes peering out from an expanded skullridge. His build is slightly less muscular then the average S-II, evidencing his habit of moving quickly through combat, and killing at close range.

Clothing: As per all Spartan-II troops, Number 633 wears the standard issue Mark VI MJOLNIR armor. As each Spartan-II is permitted to customise their armour both to personal preference and squad designation, he has repainted his in a striking bleached-bone white, believing that the loss of the ability to use any camoflage within his enviroment, yet still function as efficently as any other soldier, is a badge of prestiege. His visor and underlay are all in a blood-red, as are his gloves, and the skull-insignia designating his funtion, previously, as part of an elite assasination unit, commanding the more expandable Spartan-III class soldiers.

Hair Color/Style: Bald

Height: 205 cm

Skin Tone: Pale Caucasian

Scars/Markings/Tattoos: Several long scars across his chest and shoulders, a mark of an encounter with a particularly skilled Covenant Elite, who expertly wielded a Plasma Sword.

Personality: As semi-silent as most, he does have a habit both of bragging, and stretching the truth. Enjoying the rush and thrill of battle, he sees the Flood as the penultimate in evolution: the ultimate warrior race. Due to this, he would express some displeasure at anything resulting in complete extinction of them. However, he remains a loyal and valued soldier of the Human forces.

Habits: Bragging, exagerating.

History:
An expert in close-range combat, and proficient in both mid and long range, Joshua 633 prefers weapons that deliver a fatal blow at close quarters.

As were all Spartan-II's, he was taken from his parents at birth, replaced with a clone that soon died of atrifically induced 'Natural Causes'. Following thise, several years of bodily augementation and training followed, before the Spartan-II's were first deployed.

633 Joshua soon made himself known as apt for moving quickly through battles, even beyind enemy lines, and emerging unscathed despite his preferences for close-combat. Recruited before the tragic battle of Reach, he was made part of an elite squad of Spartan deployed to combat a rogue group making use of shoddily recreated Spartan techniques to augument themselves. Eventually, the battle drew to a close on a location known as the Blood Gulch, where 633's force set up a temporary base and assaulted the enemy's main stronghold, eventually defeating them, though they numbered almost thirty, whislt only five Spartan were deployed against them. One was killed in action, a second wounded. All militants were terminated. As per regulation, the desceased Spartan was officially listed as 'MIA', encouraging the myth that a Spartan cannot die.

In the opening years of the Covenant war, his squad was almost annihilated in numerous attempts to assassinate Covenant figureheads, until he was the only one remaining. However, placed in charge of the less-heavily augumented Spartan-III's, he led the squad through several successful missions, including the assassination of a minor Prophet, and the commanding officer of a covenant flagship during an assault on a Human-held system.

One year prior to the begenning on this RP, he was placed in suspended animation aboard the Prometheus, as were several other Spartan across several vessels, the idea being that these vessels would be strategically placed in any combat to flee, and preserve their small cargo of Spartans.

To Zet, all fields are as they should be, if you mean the Appearance and other underlined tags in the Character Sheet, that is to separate the different fields of the sheet and what it exactly represents.

And, often time in canon, Spartans are used, it's even been used by Bungie themselves, so what I put is entirely accurate. Also, Zet, there is a required password that must be input in every Character Sheet to even be approved, you may have taken the time to note wrong mistakes, but as long as that password isn't in your sheet, you can't be approved.

And your character's history has a few mistakes, one is the Prophet of Regret's attack on Earth, which took place during October at 2552. The Prometheus hasn't been in direct contact with the UNSC for several months, and the game takes place on December 23, 2552. That's impossible, he couldn't have been at that battle.

So, correct your mistakes, then I'll see about approving you.

Clothing: Customized MJOLNIR Armor, full black. Unlike most MJOLNIR armor, 179's visor is of a smokey gray and without the black outlines. Most of his suit was modified for comfort purposes, such as the gloves and plating of his boots. He also has never changed armor since upgrading to his Mark VI. It is scarred and battle worn, he looks like a mess, but he loves it.

He tends to call his MJOLNIR a Mark VII, finding it better than the armor issued. He strongly believes his is a step above the rest.

Hair Color/Style: Short brown hair, messy.

Height: 6'5"

Physical Build: Thin, but firm and toned

Skin Tone: Caucasian, fair skin

Eye Color: Blue-gray

Scars/Markings/Tattoos: carries a scar across his stomach, and a few on his left arm.

Personality-

Traits: Arrogant, cocky, often times self-absorbed and critical. He has a cynical attitude towards everything, and approaches every detail with a massively obsessive nature.

Habits: Cracks his knuckles.

Biographical Information-

History: In his early life Chance lived on Earth, in a small, relaxing city. At the age of 6 he was taken from his home, being deemed a prime candidate for a project codenamed: SPARTAN-II. Like most other children taken during that time Chance was replaced with a Flash Clone, which died soon after.

During his teenage years Chance trained rigorously, he never missed a beat, easily catching on to the protocols and rules of combat and war. He was a soldier, bred for combat, built for war. It was also during this time that his obsessive nature would come into play, often times laying awake at night to read one of the many books and manuals on the things around him. He wanted to know it all, and he certainly seemed capable of doing just that.

Being able to catch on pretty quick lent itself to his handling of guns and grenades, and, later on, Covenant weaponry. Chance would continue his training into his late teens, along the way creating enemies and rarely allies, or, well, allies that actually trusted him.

Chance had always been a bit self-absorbed and impulsive, never really thinking of the affects his actions would have on others, especially during combat. Which would come into play during one of his main engagements during the Covenant forces.

It was on 2549, during the Siege of Paris IV that Chance would interact with the Covenant in a full-blazed war. He was one of the few SPARTANS commissioned to the planet for immediate back-up to Sergeant Avery Johnson. Chance would lead a small squad of SPARTANS known as Delta to fight off remaining ground forces and evac the planet.

This was where Chance used his own team as decoys, most were killed, but he managed to save his own skin and destroy one of the Covenant's main ground fleets that would have destroy Johnson had not Chance done what he did in the heat of battle. The UNSC would call this an error in judgment and began watching Chance closely, discovering his aggressive nature, and manipulative actions.

On 17.07.2552 Chance was at the battle of Côte d'Azur. The Covenant had attempted to retrieve a Forerunner artifact held within a museum on the planet of Sigma Octanus IV, leaving the SPARATNS no choice but to detonate a HAVOK Nuclear Warhead. Chance was one of the few unnamed SPARTANS to fight in this battle, fending off a large amount of Covenant forces on his own, it was after this battle he was granted the Rank of Master Chief Petty Officer and assigned to The Prometheus, which launched immediately after the battle.

Military Career: During the Covevant war Chance had garnered high praise from the UNSC, even if he did have suspicious qualities about him. It was during the battle of Côte d'Azur that Chance would receive a Commendation for Bravery. Chance has also received nearly every major service medal except for the Purple Heart Medallion, shockingly enough, he has never been injured in battle.

He was awarded The Prisoner of War Medallion after being captured by a small boarding Covenant fleet, he is one of few soldiers who survived and escaped from Covenant clutches, while managing to take out a fair chunk of soldiers for revenge. He was held captive for at least seven days.

The Siege of Paris IV is one of the few battles Chance has never commented on, he often likes to brag about his victories and about how he always seems to do better, but his actions, and the repercussions to follow, left Chance closed about the real occurrences, for fear of losing a rank.

He had already been removed from active duty, even losing a rank and his badge, which took some time to get back. It was taken to a private trial, but Chance got off, there was no proof to support the claim that Chance openly put his team in harms way just to save himself.

On 17.07.2552 Chance would finally gain the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer, he would then ship out later that night on The Prometheus with a fellow crew of six SPARTANS. A few of which he actually managed to get along with. He would come to call them his Blue Team.

Clothing: At first 759 wore a regular green SPARTAN suit but after a little bit of some repainting and modifying, she now wears a white and sky blue Mark VI MJOLNIR armor with an orange visor.

Hair Color/Style: 759 has long sandy taupe brown colored hair that's most often tied up in a ponytail

Height: 5 ft. 6 in.

Physical Build: Thin but fair

Skin Tone: Caucasian, slightly tan

Eye Color: Deep brown

Scars/Markings/Tattoos: 759 bears on scar on the back of her shoulder from being mauled by a Drone. She also has a birthmark on the back of her neck representing what appears to be Halo but no one is entirely sure of what it is.

Personality-

Traits: 759 is often a rational, level-headed and resourceful warrior. However, there are times when she takes the oppurtunity to crack a joke or make a snappy remark.

Habits: Has a very bad habit of teasing the enemy which often gets her into huge trouble.

Biographical Information-

History:

As most SPARTAN soldiers would start out, Anna Kowalski was one of many children who were "abducted" by Dr. Catherine Halsey's colleagues in a drastic attempt to create the ultimate army of biologically enchanced humans to fend off the Covenant. This army was known as SPARTAN.

However, Anna wasn't exactly kidnapped like most children. She was in fact actually given up by her parents who were a couple of Halsey's assistants. Her parents then changed their surnames to Heisenburg hide the truth from their daughter who, after the augumentation, lost all memory of her family.

Before the augumentation, Anna was a bright yet timid young girl. She was usually the most obedient out of all her teammates. But as she grew older, she started to grow out of her shyness and was able to get along with her teammates very well. She seemed devestated when several of her best friends didn't survive the augumentation process.

Several years after becoming a full-fledged SPARTAN, Anna (now named SPARTAN-759) was later assigned to the ship the Prometheus to spend another year in suspended animation along with six other SPARTAN soldiers. A year later was when our story begins.

Military Career: At first, 759 was just a regular soldier in her early days of combat. But as she continued to fight throughout the years, she soared high enough only to be made captain. It may not be the highest rank, but it's good enough seeing 759 takes some pride into her rank.

Appearance-

Clothing: 190 wears the standard issue Mark VI MJOLNIR armor. 190's armor is different in it's own way. His armor is has been painted jet black and the visor is more of a silver color. His armor has a camo feature like those of the covenant except 190's camo does not turn off after he shoots his weapon. It turns off after a set period of time which can be set for different times but, nothing longer then 30 seconds.

Hair Color/Style: 190's hair is a black and stops at the bottom of his ear. It usually just hangs down with no general style to it.

Height: 6 feet 2 inches tall

Physical Build: Toned but firm

Skin Tone: Caucasian, tan skin

Eye Color: sky blue

Scars/Markings/Tattoos: The word "SNIPER" is tattooed going down his left arm and the word "SPARTAN" is tattooed going down his right arm.

Personality-

Traits: He doesn't speak much and wishes to keep it that way, as well as keeping attention away from himself. He detests changes and troublesome situations. Likes to be chilled and laid back. He's a bit cocky at times.

Habits: pops neck, talks to himself when sniping

Biographical Information-

History:

Like the other SPARTAN subjects, Jacob 190 was kidnapped in attempt to make a super soldier. He was replaced with a carbon copy that died of "Natrual Causes". Jacob was different from most of the other children. The others tried to get free but, Jacob 190 decided to stay. He wanted to know this could be his chance to defeat the Covenant menace and protect his family.

His augmentations were quite painful but he learned to get through it. After his augmentations, 190 started his SPARTAN training. He showed remarkable skill with a sniper rifle. He never missed a shot with the long range weapon which was a remarkable feat indeed. Even with a battle rifle, 190 showed great talent and he had the smallest margin of shots missed then all the other children.

Throughout the years, 190 was in many important missions. Even during these important missions, Jacob's sniping skills were top notch. Being a sniper was great for 190 since he wouldn't have to bother with troublesome situations during mission. During one important mission to kill a top elite Covenant soldier, 190 missed a shot for the first time in his life with a sniper rifle. It was this shot that caused his squad to die.

In the following year, 190 was assigned to the ship Prometheus. Upon reaching Prometheus, 190 was put in suspended animation along with other SPARTANS.

Reckless, you have many errors in your sheet, first off, camo needs to last waaaaay less than fifteen minutes. It doesn't even last that long for SPARTANs in HALO 1. Secondly, you can only have ONE Primary Weapon and ONE Secondary Weapon. I didn't say weaponS.

And until your Military and History are edited in you won't be approved. So until all your mistakes are corrected if the last SPARTAN slots are filled you'll have to choose something else.

To Twilight, you have a great sheet, but your missing the password in your post. As is stated all Character Sheets require the password to even be approved. The password is in my opening post, so if you take the time to read it you'll see the password, once that's edited in I'll approve you.

The password can be implemented in inventive ways, don't just throw the word out and make it obvious.

Appearance-

Clothing: The standard issue Mark VI MJOLNIR armor. Steel has repainted his in a steely gray camouflage color. His visor and underlay are dark blue, as are his gloves.

Hair Color/Style: black and buzzed

Height: 180 cm (little less than 6 feet)

Physical Build: athletic and muscular, an almost perfectly fit human specimen in apperance

Skin Tone: dark brown (African American)

Eye Color: brown

Scars/Markings/Tattoos: The phrase "SEMPER FI" is tatoed on Steels back and he has a tatoo of a cross on his right bicep. Then he has three big scars on his left forearm, from a careless encounter with two covenant Brutes.

Personality- Good sense of humor even when the situation does not call for it. Stays level headed even under extreme conditions and always approaches situations in a logical matter.

Traits: Enjoys learning, and telling jokes, strong sense of loyalty towards his comrades

Habits: whistles when he is happy or just solved a tough problem. Hates to leave comrades behind.

Biographical Information-

History: In his early life Steel lived on Earth, in a big city. At the age of 4 he was abducted from his home,one of the chosen candidates for the SPARTAN-II project. Steel was replaced bya Flash Clone, which died soon after, just like many other children who were abducted by this project.

During his teenage years Steeltrained with an incredible work ethic, however it was not his physical performance that astounded his teachers, but his mental one. He efforrtlessly caught on to the protocols, rules and strategies of combat and war. Steel was a genius on the battle field. He trully possesed a mind that was unparalleled.

Sadly for Steel he was not fully prepared for the harsh realities of battle. When three of his closest friends were killed in battle, it was a life changing experience for him. Steel feel into depression for about two weeks.

Fortunately, thanks to some inspiring words from his comander Steel was able to overcome his depression. Afterwards he became pretty religious and often carried a bible around with him. Then besides his renewed faith in God, Steel trained even harder than before. For five years straight Steel would read sixty pages out of a military manual or text book. He continually strived to learn more and become a better soldier, so that he would not have to watch any more of his friends die.

Steels creativity and aptitude for military technology and military strategies lent intself well to battle. Thanks to steel UNSC was able to recover covenant weaponry and put it to new innovative uses against its enemies.


Military Career: Steel is a good soldier in the field. He specializes in hacking and electronics and his quick thinking has saved the lives of his comrades many a time. All Steels nack for figuring out how the covenants technology operates and his ability to use that against the enemy has spurred him through the UNSC ranks and earned him well deserved praise and admiration from his commanders and fellow soldiers.

Appearance-

Clothing: Dillon’s MJOLNIR armor is the standard Mark VI. He has not had any modifications done to his armor, and will keep it that way.

Hair Color/Style: Bald

Height: 6’ 3”

Physical Build: Due to the enhancements done to his body, Dillon is very built. His muscles are large and powerful enough to sustain himself in his MJOLNIR armor.

Skin Tone: Since Dillon rarely leaves his MJOLNIR armor, his skin is a pale white. He burns very easily also.

Eye Color: Blue eyes with a black ring around them.

Scars/Markings/Tattoos: He has burn marks on various places on his body, due to the Covenant’s weaponry.

Personality-

Traits: Dillon is a born leader. He knows how to motivate people and “pump them up”. He also knows how to get through to people and get them to understand his mindset. These qualities combined make him a strong leader, and he has always been one. Ever since survival training before becoming a Spartan, this trait has been shown.

Otherwise, Dillon is very strict. If you do something that is against his wishes, he will make sure you pay the consequences. The only exception to this is when someone of higher ranking confronts him, which there are very little.

He also will show no respect for those he thinks does not deserve it.

Habits: Dillon can be stubborn at times. Though, this does not happen all of the time.

Biographical Information-

History:

Dillon was kidnapped at the age of 6. He was a large boy at the time, reaching 5’ 2” and weighing in at 100 pounds. He was replaced by a flash clone, which later died of “natural Causes”.

Much like John-117, Dillon-097 was an excellent leader. During survival he led his two team mates to their final destination fairly quickly, and they were not harmed in any way. He quickly rose the ranks of the Navy.

Upon reaching Master Chief Petty Officer, Dillon-097 was assigned to stop a covenant invasion. Oddly, the covenant had not glassed the planet, meaning there was something there they thought would help them. Dillon-097 and his squad needed to stop them.

Upon arriving on the planet, Dillon-097 was confronted by many Zealots after killing two phantoms of grunts, jackals, and low-level elites. During the first few waves of grunts, an over-charged plasma pistol had hit him and his shields were instantly brought down. When the Zealots arrived and confronted him and his team, he ordered his two partners to drop there secondary weapons switch them for a plasma pistol. They didn’t know why, but they followed orders, grabbing the weapon. Dillon then over charged the pistol, and shot it at the nearest Elites. Its shield was brought down, and the elite stood there confused. As quickly as he had shot the gun, Dillon was running toward the elite and punched it in the face, crushing its skull. His teammates caught on, and soon all the elites were dead. He took several Plasma Pistols with him, for safe keeping.

Upon arriving back from his mission, Dillon was promoted to Captain. He was then sent to board the Prometheus along with several other Spartans. They were to board the vessel in case they were needed to help or escape.

Military Career: Dillon-097 has received many medals, including Prison of War.

He was captured by covenant troops when he first received his Mark IV armor. Surrounded, he gave in. Upon being placed in his cell, Dillon attacked the guard and stole his plasma rifle and the two plasma grenades the guard was carrying. Using these weapons to kill other covenant, he was able to steal a phantom and escape. Along the way, he found three cells of marines, he rescued them also.

This was when he was promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer.
