FOX was going to fund a production of a halo movie based on the games but then later they backed out in fear that the movie will suck. for a while the movie was still an opition but no one wanted to fund it.
it wasnt till until then a rumer came out saying that the director peter jackson is shooting the film at new zealand and that an unknown business funded the movie. and those halo live clips are some wat trailers for the movie cause they cant afford to post it on television yet.the release date is 2009
