I can`t wait to hear the music in BBS! I especially want to hear all of the main character`s themes. I`m hoping they will be awesome.

Every KH game has great music in it. I hope the song they used on the beginning of the JumpFesta trailer is in the game, it was great. :3

I know, I really liked that song! I kept on restarting the trailer just to listen to it. I hope they play it during the game, and I hope it's on the CD so everyone can download it and stuff

Did you ever notice, that the final battle music with Xemnas has some part of Rage Awakened.
Or rather, it's a repeating song among certain groups of enemies, found in both Darkness of the Unknown and Rage Awakened.

Definitely!

She MUST sing the new BBS theme song, whatever it may be.
Probably one of her singles, or something else new.
If there's a new song, she's certainly not going to be singing it.
Not unless Disney decides to change their minds and start paying her what she asks for.

And WHY isn't she doing them anymore?

This is why Utada Hikaru isn't continuing with KH: Kingdom Hearts World - Archive - Utada Hikaru might not do Kingdom Hearts 3 - GameSpot Unions

-Are you going to be involved in the soundtrack for Kingdom Hearts III?

Utada: I don't think so, I don't know. Probably not.

Mr. Utada: We said no to Disney.

Utada: Ohh...

-You turned down Disney?

Mr. Utada: Yeah. Because they don't pay.

-Because they don't pay, yeah. My parents work for Disney World, so I'm sure they'd be in agreement with you on that.

Utada: They can have a drink over that [all laugh].

-Okay, so going back a little bit, the fact that Exodus was released in English also in Japan, was that a conscious decision? Was there ever any pressure either on your label over there, or from other people to say, "Well, if you do Japanese versions of these songs, they'll be so much more accessible, many more people will get to that?"

Utada: Uh-huh. Well, from the beginning, yeah...before doing that contract, I'd done a few songs where I had to translate, like for Kingdom Hearts, I had to make an English version of the song "Hikari," which became "Simple and Clean," and then also for Kingdom Hearts II, I had to make the Japanese version which was the song "Passion" and then the English version that was "Sanctuary," and that was so hard, it's just-and it felt strained-and as a result, I'm happy that I worked hard to do those, because those English versions are really good and "Simple and Clean," I think, is a really good song, and people...most of the people that know me here, they know me for that-but it's not ideal for me as a writer, to...because, actually, I changed the melodies for "Simple and Clean" and "Hikari," because when you change the language you're singing in, the same melodies don't work-and as a writer, it's just very frustrating to have, like...I wrote these melodies for Japanese words, and to have to write in English for that, it's just not right. And then, so, for this, uh, this contract with Island Def Jam, in the beginning I separated it to this English language album, and I don't do Japanese translations. I just, my integrity as an artist just would not take that, could not take that.

And this is why I expect to continue hearing the same two songs she's already contributed in the future: Square, Disney and Japanese Pop Star Utada Hikaru Collaborate on Kingdom Hearts - PlayStation 2 story - at IGN

"Utada is the only artist I envisioned singing the theme song for KINGDOM HEARTS," said KINGDOM HEARTS' director Nomura. "Her music has moved millions of fans, and I was absolutely thrilled when she agreed to contribute to this project. I see her as an icon for young artists and she also proves that music transcends national and language barriers."

Because they don't pay.

It always about money, isn't it?

Well...there goes my dream of a new KH theme song.
But in the end, it's not all that bad, listening to the same two
theme songs from the first two games over and over again...am I right?

We don't know... Nomura may decide to get someone else for KH3. We'll find out eventually. ;D

Call me crazy, but what if that someone happened to be a certain
artist who is also famous, who sang the theme for Dirge of Cerebus: FFVII...
...Gackt...perhaps? shamisen

Okay maybe not. But he has some cool songs too...even though he's... gay...is he?

I wouldn't know if Gackt was gay or not.

Personally, I'd love it if Aqua Timez did the theme for KH3. Or Porno Graffiti. They did some of the themes for the anime adaptation of Bleach, and they both did great jobs with their songs IMO.

Trying to reach the Second Star to the Right.
I think that BBS will have one of the best songs in KH history. I think Terra's theme(if he gets one) will be dark, Ven's will sound like Sora's or Roxas' and it'll sound like someone who disappeared and Aqua's will sound like the person who the theme was made for is thoughtful.
You realize we've probably already heard his theme, right?

That first song is a mixture between Roxas and Sora's KH2 theme.
If you can't hear it, you can at least pick up on the beat best at 0:20-0:40 (Roxas' theme) and 0:58-1:20 (Sora's theme).
What song is played at the start?

In a coffin.
I remember in KH2, when you fight Xemnas at the sky creaper, the music is called, Nightmare on the Bare Mountain, and it fits so good to Xemnas, maybe Yoko Shimomura took some parts of that songs into a new song, since Xemnas Terra and MX are somehow connected together.

No. Xemnas's theme is named "Disappeared". It also plays during his fight at Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. "Night on Bald Mountain" plays when you fight Chernabog in KH1 (out of JP versions and Final Mix).
