And yes, very much overreaction in the above. Those under the skin piercings were bound to hurt and be easily infected. But unfortunately body art studios don't run an IQ test first so see if people know how to look after themselves.

Alright, so I went to the health center (and my nurse had like four piercings in each ear, haha) and she said that it wasn't infected but it might have been right on the verge of it. She gave me rubbing alcohol which was way better/more powerful than the antiseptic they gave me. My ears both seem pretty normal now.

Lesson learned, ditch the store's antiseptic for plain rubbing alcohol.

From what I've read/heard from my piercer, using rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide is a huge "no-no" in piercing care.

They probably told you that and then gave/sold you their own anti-septic right?
The nurse said rubbing alcohol is the way to go.
