I making this because I think if the fans come together we can get a new DKC game. The fans were heard for Operation Rainfall and Operation Moonfall. Nintendo's bringing the Japan only games to U.S. and making Majora's Mask 3D. DKC Returns made a ton of money and alot of elements were missing. If Nintendo wanted to make money and a smart decesion would be to make a 5th. People saw Returns was just as good as the original if not better and if a 5th was made with Kremlings, more animal buddies and other Kongs people would hop on the game like no tomarrow. I'm not sure how many people here play Donkey Kong but I wanted to see if any was for it.

There's a large difference in requesting that a game be localized - ie. translated with most of the resources being there - and a game being created entirely from the ground up. The reason Majora's Mask 3D is probably being made is because of the high praise of Ocarina of Time 3D.

returns made a fair amount of money so i think nintendo sees another game as viable

It helps that Returns was friggin' fun.

But for the next one... definitely would like some underwater action.

And in a dream world, Dave Wise doing a whole new soundtrack.

I know it just came out but DonkeyKong gets an unfair treatment from Nintendo which saved it during SNES days which saw a game be released every year for the next 2 after the first. Zelda gets about 2 for handheld and console same with Mario. Metroid just got 6 games in the last 10 years and for Star Fox after fans hating on Adventures which I loved Nintendo stepped away from it a bit. Kirby just got 2 Wii games and a bunch of handheld ones. And yes I know there other series that don't get alot of good treatment like F-Zero.

Kirby has consistently received handheld games. Check out his GBA and DS releases...they're plentiful.

Zelda and Mario get a lot of games because they garner a LOT of money.

Metroid is going to be on break for a while now. Other M was not what people wanted, and Nintendo needs to wait for that to die out. It's the SAME thing that happened to Star Fox. Adventures and Assault were both mediocre, and Nintendo needed to wait it out.

Donkey Kong had terrible GC games and mediocre GBA games. Nintendo could not afford to keep pumping money into a series that wasn't going anywhere. Now that they have returned to their roots for Donkey Kong, they'll start supporting the series more.

It helps that this year is Kirby's 20th anniversary, so even though those games came out last year, it's still close.

New Donkey Kong 3D preorder at EB games. Not sure if real or not but if so hopefully it'll be like 64, if anything for a Country 5 I want them to save that for Wii U

Games like Donkey Kong 64 do not make as much money as Country games. So...

My thoughts exactly! 8-directional movement like in Super Mario 3D Land could make it epic! Either that or it goes back to side scrolling.

You know...cranky kong should be an unlockable character to play as like luigi. He's all talk.
