~Appearance Basics~
Height: 7’9”
Weight: 350 lbs.
Physical Appearance:
~Setukh, as the son of the god Set, has an appearance like his father. His entire body is muscular, towering above most average people. Setukh is humungous, three hundred and fifty pounds of muscle. His fist are large as well, those who have been punched by him have called them “small semi’s.” His head is that of a jackal, getting this trait from his father. His fur is jet black, allowing him to blend in with the shadows at night. His ears stay in an upright alert position at all times, and his eyes are yellow like a cat’s. He has sharp teeth, and six inch-long whiskers. The rest of his huge body is covered in fur as well, he even has a three foot long tail. His fingernails, or claws rather, are long and sharp; able to slice through many things.
Garments/Armor:
~ Setukh has adorned the clothing given to him by his father, Set. He wears no shirt, only two gold Egyptian necklaces that hang to about the middle of his upper-chest. He has two gold armbands, and a gold earring pierced in his left ear. He has on white baggy pants (think Aladdin) with a black belt around his waist. The belt buckle has a depiction of the head of a jackal on it, and protrudes a bit from his waist. He wears no shoes, as his jackal feet are more than sufficient for walking on any surface.
Armaments:
~ Suetukh has but three things he normally carries. First is the sword of Set, an obsidian long-sword with ivory hieroglyphs painted on it. The sword, whiles not only flame and break retardant, can summon forth a great snake from Set himself. The snake’s scales are extremely hard, making him immune to most attacks. The snake can eat just about anything, and its venom can kill any mortal in three seconds. Setukh is rather good with the sword, his former training still with him. The second thing Sutekh carries seems rather harmless at first. It is a glass bottle, and inside it is a beetle-like bug. This is no ordinary bug. It is a rebirth scarab, also given to him by Set. The scarab acts like normal scarabs do, burrowing under people’s skin and eating their brain, but this scarab is special. When you kill one of the scarabs, two come back in its place. An invaluable tool to have, they are very dangerous in combat. The bottle sits on his left hip, with the sword sheathed across his lower back. On his upper-back sits a large box, filled with sand. It seems to have tons of holes in it, but none of the sand escapes. The box is black, and seems to be made of solid stone. It is very heavy, thus contributing to Setukh’s strength.
~Personality~
~ Setukh is a very reclusive person. Rarely does he speak, but when he does it is something important. In situations where there is conflict Setukh prefers to watch rather than get involved. He is a very deep person, having deep thoughts about everything. He has very little sense of humor, and it is extremely rare to se him smile. He is very mellow, but when he does get angry he gets very angry and tends to growl like a dog; bearing his teeth.
~Skills~
~ Setukh has the old powers of his father Set; he has control over storms. His storm power does not give him complete control over lighting, thunder, wind, and water, but he can cause a storm and control it. For example, he can’t shoot lightning out of his hands but he can summon a storm and make it come out of the sky and hit you. While that power is good, Setukh does have some powers of his own. He can control sand, completely and totally. This justifies the box on his back, that is filled to the brim with it incase there is none around. Aside from his attacking skills, Setukh has some others as well. He has extremely good hearing, sight, and smell, making it almost impossible to sneak up on him. He can see as good at night as he can during the day, making him perfect for battle in dark places. He is also fast for his size, but not super humanly. When running long distances, he can get down on all fours to go faster.
~Biography~
Long ago, on a planet in the milky-way called earth, there was a country named Egypt. This country worshipped many different gods, and for a time they were very prosperous. Of all their gods however, only one was considered the most malevolent. His name was Set, and he was the god of Chaos and Evil. Not only was Set evil, but he was also one of the most powerful gods. This made him a very dangerous threat not only to Egypt, but to the other gods as well. They did not smite Set however, as that would throw off the balance of nature.
The gods ruled over Egypt with Pharaohs as their advocates, this going on for thousands of years. During on era, a Pharaoh had a wife by the name of Nephertity. She was considered to be the most beautiful woman in all the land, but there was another. One of her maidens by the name of Nephyur was very beautiful as well, matching, if not surpassing, Nephertity. Set saw this maiden, and immediately wanted her. He changed himself into the form of a human and raped Nephyur, the maiden becoming impregnated by the evil god. She gave birth to a child with the look of a jackal, and people thought he was a demon. They attempted to behead the boy, but the supreme god Amun-Ra intervened. Ra knew that the boy would play an integral part in the history of not only Egypt, but of countless worlds and people, and thus saved the boy. Wanting him to be someplace where an appearance such as his was common, Amun-Ra sent him to a far away planet called Coruscant.
Set had sat back and watched the entire time. He too knew the potential of his son, and had already begun to plot.
The babe was found on Coruscant by an old couple, taking the boy in as their own. He did not yet have a name, so they simply called him Jack because of his jackal-like appearance. The loving old couple up to the age of five-raised Jack, and it was at that time that the Jedi from the order had come to scout new students for the academy. The old couple sent Jack to the Jedi, and the boy never returned. It seemed jack had an unusually high amount of bitaclourients in his blood, a nutrient that was used to determine once unity with the force. Wanting the boy to live up to his great potential, the Jedi took him into the academy.
Jack made many friends while at the academy, and also became strong not only physically but mentally as well. By the age of sixteen his unity with the force rivaled even that of Master Mace Windu, and it was predicted that he would become a great Master when the time was right. At the age of fifteen Jack became a padawan, under the Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn.
The two became very close, Qui-Gon teaching Jack much of the ways of the force. Because of Jack outstanding ability, the two were assigned dangerous missions not normally given to a knight and padawan; they completed each one flawlessly. Once they took out an entire army of horrid beast that were threatening a nomad village on their own. The two even developed their own team fighting style, and it seemed nothing could stop them. By the age of eighteen Jack had become an apprentice, only one rank below a knight. The missions they were given now required more thinking and negotiating rather than sheer violence. This helped train Jack’s mind, making him quite the smart fellow.
At twenty-one, Jack became a full-fledged Jedi knight. Qui-Gon was assigned another padawan, a boy by the name of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Jack was sent out on his first mission. It was to track two reckless treasure hunters that had traveled to a small planet looking for treasure. That planet was Earth. Jack tracked the treasure hunters to the planet, and ended up landing in a large desert. Spying some large pyramid-like buildings in the distance, Jack decided that to start there would be the best course of action. Once he made it there, Jack went inside one of the pyramids.
As he looked around, Jack saw strange symbols littered the walls. At first they meant nothing to him, but the further into the pyramid he went the more they began to make sense. He began to read, pouring over every symbol in the edifice. Finally, after he thought he had read all of it, he saw s brick protruding from one of the walls. Walking over to it, Jack pushed it in. All of a sudden, the floor below him opened and he fell into total and complete darkness.
Using his exceptional eyesight to see, he saw that these walls had symbols on them too. He began to read, but now out-loud. As he did, the symbols began to glow, and the whole room was bathed in a white light. Then, in the center of the room, appeared Set. The god looked straight into his son’s eyes, seemingly paralyzing him with fear and astonishment. Set told his long-lost child of his heritage, and of the powers that slept within him. First however, he had to forget about his use of the force. Closing his eyes, Jack allowed Set to induce him into a deep slumber. Jack seemed to sleep for ages, the memory of the power of the force leaving his mind.
Finally, after two years of slumber, Jack awoke. When he did, Set appeared to him again. His dormant powers had been awakened, and thus he needed to don his true appearance. Set also told him that his true name was Setukh, an old name of his fathers. Now fully dressed and armored, Set told Setukh of what he must do. Although Setukh was a demi-god, he could not yet live with his father. First, Set told him he must gain power worthy of a god. Once he had obtained this, he could die and come to be with Set and the rest of the gods. Wanting to know his true father more than anything, Setukh agreed to this and set off on his quest for power.
As his son left the pyramid, Set gave a devilish grin. If only he knew what was in store, thought the malevolent entity as he faded back out of the mortal plain…
