when you beat chain of memories DIZ asks riku which road he would take similar to the voice in soras dream (DIZ may be behind that somehow) he asks him if he will take the road to the light or the road to the dark and riku takes the middle road (the road ahead) the road to the dawn and what lies behind is the road to the dusk and as you know the dusk are the creatures known to be in KH2 which are seen in the SMV shots i belive the dusk are creatures meant to hold riku back from his destiny as they lie behind in the dusk
