You can make any kind of filters, abstract filters, and much more, it's up to you.
You have a bit more than a week too learn how to make a filter sig unless you know already.
I'll edit this post when I'm done with mine.

EDIT: Here is mine, took me like an hour to make it (I did do it at the weekend and I thought I'd enter it in this assignment)

Didn't know what image would fit perfectly so I just thought to put one that was in my file.

Wow, all your sigs are awesome...I must say Yevon, Your sig is very nice it doesn't even seem you used filters and thats a compliment.
K-C, I like version one, of your sig, seems like the backround is a mystic forest lol, by the way..who's the character in your sig? looks like tranks for dragonball lol.
Keyblade yours if very funny, and I like the colours.

About the voting, don't vote just because it's pretty (Well you can but let me explain) vote because of what they did and the effort you think they put in it.

1.Yevon:You seem to have put alot of effort and as I said you seem to have used brushes which is great 9.3/10
2. K-C: I know that you just beginned (sp?) to make sigs and you really seemed to have put alot of effort and it reminds me of a mystic forest so great job. 8.4/10
3. KB146: Sorry for putting you last.Your sig is pretty but all you did was a cloud render. No Offence 7.5/10

2. KB146: Yours is pretty I just love the warm colours you put in it, you could of put more effects on the text, seems too plain. 8.2/10

Yevon: Yeah, sorry for putting you last on this, I don't like the stock, you could of chose a better one, and where you put the text is kinda bugging me, the border, (Now I do this always and I hate how it comes out) is behind the stock, I don't like it but thats me, and also the colour could have been better, probably a lighter colour. 7.8/10
