Tre'Coolfreak13, it isnt clear if there really was a keyblade master before sora, only a ledgend. but if it was about sora and riku, then that would mean that both of them are reincarnated from some long ancient past and that just makes the story line a bit more confusing then it already is from just speculating from what we do know. but it would make a little sense that there was a keyblade master before sora because there is already a lengend about the keyblade.

How do you KNOW there was a Keyblader before Sora? I think the legend about the Keybladers was about Sora and Riku. Sora saved the worlds, but when Riku was possessed by Ansem, he wanted to destroy them.

Well they said there will either be a keyblade of pure evil or light and sora and riku did take turns of the keyblade
