A massive amount of radioactive energy had escaped into the air after the Watch Tower had fallen to Earth, and it's energy core cracked. Some have died from the radiation, but others have drank in the benefits. The amount of super-human activity has increased sharply, and most people have fled the city. Now, there is only those who fight to protect the city, and those who wish to rule the city...

Name: James Ashcroft
Alias: Enigma

Super Powers: Super IQ (Over 750 on last test)

Appearence: Looks much like Vincent from FF7 but with shorter hair. He wears a black top and wite jeans. He also wears a white waist jacket and a mask which only covers his mouth. Also has one white and one black glove.

Side: Good

Bio: James always had a good life, a great and loving family, a great girlfreind, even a acceptence at Oxford University in England. However that was all about to change the day the watch tower crashed. Dusk was in the area on a cruise at the time and he saw the whole thing happen.

The radiation from the crash gave him an extremely impressive intelligence and a photographic memory. However there was a down side to this, the radiation which gave him his gift, killed his family and girlfreind. james was left all alone however he decided that he would help others by using his new gift.

Biography: Princess-in-exile of Atlantis, she has been chasing after a villain named Trident who escaped into Metropolis a few days ago.

Name: Tori Kazisaki
Alias: Silver Assassin
Age: 17
Super Powers: Inhuman speed, can mold herself within the shadows, ability to see in the darkness.

Appearance: Tori has shoulder-length silver hair tied into a loose pony-tail with two bangs framing her face. She normally wear a white tank and tight black leather pants with a pair of high heeled boots. On boh hands she wears black gloves made of a soft leathery material. Her eyes are hauntingly icy blue, so icy at times they would almost seem transperant.

Biography: Tori, since she was a child born in Kyoto, Japan, was trained for endless hours in the days. Trained to be shape, for self-discipline, and such. That is, till the death of her family. Her own family which was killed before her eyes at age ten, who she now wants to avenge. Ever since she had wittnessed the brutal killing, all she ever did was train, but unbeknownst(Sp? ><) to her master, there was soemthing more to all that training. She used to be a lively child, always bearing a smile on ehr face. But now, she is far from being a happy person, always appearing cold and never showing emotions on her face. She has now traveled to Metropolis, where she has found some leads to the killers... What she doesn't know, is that the killers won't be the only thing she'll be discovering.

The smell of smoke and pollution hung thick in the air as an azure blur moved swiftly along the rooftops of Metropolis. Or, to be more precise, what was left of Metropolis. Des used to love coming up here. It was the only other place in the world besides Atlantis which she felt normal. People were like here there. they had powers. So once she discovered what had happened, it was all she needed to know. She had to stop Luthor and his gang of villains from completely destroying Metropolis. The blur came to a halt, and revealed itself to be the figure of a girl, staring down at a group of Hench-Men as she called them surround a civilian. "Alright, time to open up a serious can o' but whoop."

Tori was walking along the sidewalk next to her various tall buildings and such, the only thing that would let other people know someone was walking there, was the lightposts around. Her metallic-like hair shining vibrantly with the small rays of light, and the only sound she was protruding, were the soft clicks of her heels. She had her arms crossed over her chest and her face displaying nothing but pure hatred, that was nothing new when it came to her of course.

The sound of gurgling echoed through the decaying streets, and then the Hench-Mens knees gave way underneath them, and they collapsed to the ground. The civilian, terrified and stunned, murmured her thanks and stumbled away into an alley. Des shrugged, a large spiral of water leaked up from the ground and curled around Des. She sat on the coil, and it hoisted her up, propellin gitself through the street. "No recent spikes in the Hench-Men activity....too little to be exact. What are you up to Cranium?" She spoke of course, of the super-computer villain Cranium, who ruled the complete south wing of the city with his gang of Hench-Men. He had formally been the hero known as Brainwave, but after a freak accident, the psychic backlash put him into a vegetative state. Although no one was sure why, during that coma, something cracked inside him, and he flat-lined. Days later, a stirng of crimes were commited, all including technology. Des and her friend Hotspot had followed the lead, and soon unveiled the truth. They had tried to take on Cranium by thereselves, but it was a foolish mistake, and Hotspot was killed. Des' coil stretched up to the top of her Ice Tower, and disspersed. She turned on a heel, and stared out across the barren city once more. "Why....why here?" She then turned again, and dissapeared into her fortress.

"Maybe Sensei was right..." Tori kept on muttering to herself, asking questions after questions, and answers after answers. She seemed to be talking to someone else, but there was no one else around her or even near here in anyway shape or form.

'No, he was wrong, revenge is the only thing left for me... If i die doing so, then the joke's on me.', at this point a smirk appeared on her glossy lips and a glint of joy in her icy blue eyes.
