I just watched it when it came out on BR and you remember it just fine.
My only disappointment with this film was actually that it wasn't actually confusing, lol. So many people made it seem like it was totally incomprehensible and gave them an existential crises but Christopher Nolan made it as easy to understand as possible.
People freaked out the same way with Inception. When I finally saw it I was pretty much on board for most of the film with what was going on. I didn't really need to watch it again to understand what had happened. I would imagine with Interstellar it was people simply having a hard time understanding the scale of space and how gravity is related to time dilation.
Anyway it feels like this thread is starting to take a shit on Interstellar for really contrived reasons. Get better TV's and speakers people!
