I'd beg to differ on some levels. The mid 90s censorship maintanance wasn't quite as extreme as it is now. I'd choose the death-defying Batman over defy-the-laws-of-reality-and-death YuGiO anyday.

But you're right on some cases

Today's cartoons > 90s cartoons

But...

Old-time Cartoons > Modern cartoons

It's funny to still look back on cartoons and you'll find some forbidden sociel themes of modern times. You'll be glad to know Bugs Bunny was a supporter of segregation.
