I've always known that the Kh games were rpg games but something about BBS felt off as an rpg game. It had the battle elements but interaction with other characters were very minimal and it seems like the only thing to do was either play mini games or fight and grind your command deck. The worlds were cool but it did feel a bit shallow at times.

Anyone else think that BBS didnt feel like an rpg game?

To be fair, none of the Kingdom Hearts games have a wealth of NPCs to interact with, aside from the main cast of whatever world you're in. To me, BbS was the most like an RPG because you could customize your play style, what with the wide variety of commands that allowed you to fight in your own way. In a sense, there were even classes, with a power type (Terra), speed type(Ven), and a magic type(aqua).
