double checking, but you're talking about fighting Axel in Castle Oblivion, right?
if so, card break all his most powerful attacks with 0 cards, like Fire Wall, Firetooth, and Fire Boost. Curaga combos will def. help you out as well as powerful cards. The trick is to card break and attack him with powerful cards. When he uses Firewall, run as far away as you can and search for a 0 card, then go in for an attack.

You can dodge roll right through ANY ATTACK, so you can go right through Firewall. dont waste 0 cards on stupid breaks, lol. Firetooth should definately be broken, so use them on that.

When he uses sleights use sonic rush to break them and attack him after that, if you can't hit him with sonic rush use Blizzaga.... 0 cards are handy too and of course have cure cards... about 6-9 of them (even more if you can put them).
