Angel The TV Show Reference?

I noticed that one of the bonus Gummi ships is named Hyperion, is this a reference to the TV show Angel which were using the Hyperion hotel as a base of operations when Kingdom Hearts was released?

actually, im pretty sure hyperion is the name of seifer's gunblade. seifer is leon/squall's rival in Final Fantasy VIII.

Hyperion is the sixteenth of Saturn's known satellites also in Greek mythology Hyperion was a Titan, the son of Gaea and Uranus and the father of Helios. And I think it was the gunblade as well.
