a question about axel?

i just got the game today and i was wondering, is the second roxas fight with axel the last time we see him? did he die or what?

Axel will die towards the Ending, just as Sora and co. enters the World That Never Was. Not only will you see him, but he'll fight with you, however, he won't be added to the party.

awesome! so when he fights with you is it like leon in the hollow bastion near the beginning?

He hits opponents and does that thing where a wall of fire engulfs the opponents. He also teleports from place to place.

It's a quick battle, so don't expect too much, plus the way he dies is...well...like Axel.
