A Flaw in Timeless River

I'm playing the game again and I just realized something and it's definitely a flaw. After Sora, Donald, and Goofy go through the door to the past, which is Timeless River, they look like their original designs. But how is it when Pete goes through the door he still looks like himself from the future? Shouldn't he have looked just like the Pete from the past? That's the only part that kind of confuses me.

U would use a Axel quote.....yeah but seriously it would be way to confusing to have them both looking the same, pluse I think Pete has something in his outfite which makes him imune to some of those effects that happen in certain worlds, except Pridelands, but anyway it would be too confusing with two Petes that look the same........."Im so FLATTERED!"

That could be true, but I doubt it...just a plot hole is what it is

maybe he couldnt change to his past self cuz his past self is already there?

That world allows you to alter the future by going into the past. Thats what Sora looked like in the past, I guess Pete always wore the same outfit. And the 2 Petes arent even the same, the one that owns the steamboat corporation, acutally inhabits TR, the other one is just gay. They didnt make him look differnt so it wouldnt be confusing.
