Paralysis

How does this debuff work exactly? I have noticed several things. Firstly. I can see the word Paralysis on my screen. The debuff doesn't seem to stick, or I can see the graphic for the debuff and after my turn is up. They still attack me, but still remain frozen.

What's the deal here?

Paralysis is not a complete paralysis but rather a chance that the enemy might not attack you, however it is also possible that it will. (think paralysis in the Pokemon games) And like all debuffs, it goes away after 1-2 turns.
