Oh, you meant a KH where they go to Nintendo worlds, not a SSB style platform fighter with KH guys. That confused me.

Oh yeah, it's Sora going to worlds here lol (although it's not just Nintendo)
A KH Dissidia would be awesome, though!
Funny thing is, I can kind of see a Disney SSB clone happening before a KH Dissidia at this rate. They've been both opening up to the idea of their characters fighting in games (Sorcerer's Arena, Melee Mania), & slowly pushing into Nintendo's turf with similar games (Dream Valley, Speedstorm).

OK, so anyway, I've had my own ideas on a KH but Nintendo concept for years (ever since that 1 April Fool's joke put the idea in my head)

Game title: Kingdom Hearts Coded 2

System: Switch (or it's next-gen successor)

Protagonist: Data-Sora

Basic premise: Set during Mickey's trip to Scala ad Caelum, he enters Data-Sora into a computer network there so he can find information about the events of UX. Shortly after Data-Sora comes across Grand Central Station, which is under attacked by a being known as Master Hand. MH has apparently reprogrammed the villains of each game world, turning them from "bad guys" to actual bad guys. D-S rushes in to save the day.

Gameplay: Each Nintendo world has both a Nintendo party member & a Disney party member. The Disney ones are simulations based the GoL's past adventures that Mickey sends in to aid D-S. Genre changes from Coded returns, this time copying the gameplay style of the given world. Bosses however tend to be fought in KH style. Each world has a post-game bonus boss who's a doppelganger or rival of the world's hero, essentially acting as a stand-in for fighting the actual hero.

1. Mushroom Kingdom
Game: Super Mario 64
Party: Mario & Mickey (a more Epic Mickey inspired version)
Genre: Sidescroller
Bosses: Bowser in clown cup, Dry Bowser (must use Blizzard to make vulnerable)
Post-game Bonus Boss: Shadow Mario

While Bowser is beaten, Peach along with Daisy & Rosalina, are missing. Seems they're not even in the game world anymore.

2. Great Sea
Game: Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker
Party: Link & Peter Pan
Genre: top-down dungeon
Bosses: Helmasaur King (dungeon), Ganondorf & Ganon
Bonus Boss: Shadow Link

Were you expecting Hyrule? Link was based on Peter Pan & the Zelda of WW being a pirate that Pan would naturally distrust made the Great Sea sound the more logical direction. Ganon is the bipedal blue pig version & marks the 3D debut of that design.

3. Kanto
Game: Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green
Party: Pikachu & Stitch
Genre: Turn-based battle
Bosses: "Silver" (TBB), Mewtwo, Armor-Mewtwo
Bonus: True Silver's team

This one requires more explanation. The world is set sometime after the gen 4 games and has Silver, the gen 2 rival & son of Giovanni has reformed & united team Rocket & Galactic under the banner of Team Cosmic. Rocket's Ariana & Galactic's Mars are revealed to be Silver's mom & sister respectively. However it's later revealed to not be the true Silver not a ditto pretending to be him.

The Ditto used to be one of Leaf's pokemon, the female player character. However in the real world the player who owned the game started a new save file & choose to play as the male PC, effectively erasing Leaf from existence. MAster Hand offered a deal with the ditto, if it can bring the Pokemon world down under Master Hand's rule, MH would hack the code & revive Leaf. Hence, Ditto masquerading someone who had connections to both Rocket & Galactic.

Mewtwo_in_armor.jpg

The Armor-Mewtwo bossfight is the ditto transformed. It is hooked up to a machine that has the 18 Arceus plates installed into it, giving it attacks of every type.

4. Sauria
Game: Star Fox Adventures
Party: Fox & Robin Hood
Genre: On-rails flight in the gummiship
Bosses: Star Wolf & Don Karnage (On-rails), General Scales
Bonus Boss: Wolf O' Donnell on foot

Huh? You're asking how Mickey possibly has files to create a simulation of Robin Hood? Why that is a very good question!

5. Zebes
Game: Super Metroid with dash of Metroid Prime 1
Party: Samus Aran & Buzz Lightyear (based on Lightyear film)
Genre: First-person Shooting
Bosses: Ridley, Mother Brain
Bonus Boss: Dark Samus/Metroid Prime

6. Skyworld
Game: Kid Icarus Uprising
Party: Pit & Hercules
Genre: More on-rails
Bosses: Twinbellows & Cerberus tag team, Hades & Hades tag team (both Disney & KI versions)
Bonus Boss: Dark Pit

7. Ylisse
Game: Fire Emblem Awakening
Party: Lucina & Mulan
Genre: tactics battle
Bosses: Validarm Grima (Fell Dragon form)
Bonus Boss: Grima (Robin form) Lucina

Final world. Subspace
Game: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Party: Donkey Kong & Wreck-it Ralph
Genre: Sidescroller rehash
Bosses: Master Hand, Master Hand Round 2, Captain N, Captain N Round 2
Bonus Boss: Sora's Heartless, Kevin Keene

Subspace is the border between the Datascape & the Realm of Light. Using the power of the 7 Data Princesses of Heart (Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, Krystal, Zelda, Vanellope, & Emmeryn) Master Hand plans to cross over into the real world, bringing his army with him. While Data-Sora & allies have defeated MH's minions in the game worlds, it turns out those guyss were never truly intended to be his actual army. Rather MH had been using the battles between heroes & villains to gather the necessary data to create a more elite force, the Fighting Polygon Army.

Round 1 with MH is a direct 3D interpretation his SSB fights. Round 2 has him using giant sized versions of iconic weapons & items: the Master Sword, the Fire Emblem shield, a fire flower, a poke ball, etc. Finally culminating in a keyblade made of the DPoH's hearts a la Rikunort's from back in the day. Round 1 has the Brawl Final Destination theme, while Round 2 plays the final boss theme from Mario & Luigi Paper Jam.

MH is destroyed but man behind the curtain finally reveals himself, Captain N. For the uninitiated, Captain N was the title character of an '89 cartoon featuring lots of Nitnedo & 3rd party characters. He essentially was to Nintendo worlds what Sora is to Disney worlds so he's here to act as Data-Sora's counterpart in the vein of all of the other Nintendo/Disney team-ups in this game. The Captain N of the KH continuity is a teen from the RoL who was selected to be the guardian of the Datascape, helping fight the 4 pure darknesses that were roaming within it.

Unfortunately, he fell on hard times after his task was done. Unable to accept that his time as the hero was over, he decided to become the villain, using the Power Glove to create a hologram of his hand that he dubbed Master Hand. In truth, Cap has been taken over by the last surviving of the pure darknesses, twisting his emotions to drive him down the dark path.

The 1st round sees Captain N using his gear form the cartoon: a controller belt buckle that gives him super speed, high jumps, & time pausing, while he dual wields an orange & grey NES Zappers. The battle theme from the 1st Smithy fight in SMRPG plays. Round 2 is based around attacking with his Power Glove, the track is the Dark Bowser theme from M&L Bowser's Inside Story.

Kevin Keene is what's left of Captain N's heart after he dies with the darkness, using data to create a new form for him. Breaking canon, the bonus boss version uses peripherals from throughout Nintendo history with a heavy focus on the Wiimote/zapper. Haven't settled on a battle theme for this fight.

That sounds like an awesome game that I'd love to play!!
