I haven't seen any threads in here that talk about Disney Parks & Resorts in general besides some really specific things as separate threads, so I thought it'd be a good idea to create a place here that can do that.

Pretty much anything can go here such as any of Disney's upcoming new projects for their resorts or sharing some of your past experiences and memories at any of their resorts!

I'm really intrigued and excited about what Disney just announced with Disneyland Forward. It's been such a long time since the resort had any major expansion since Disney California Adventure opened back in 2001. Hope it doesn't fall through like with WestCOT or the cancelled 4th hotel.

That place. The place with the thing.
I went to Disneyland Paris when I was 7, aaaaall the way back in 2000. I can’t remember nearly as much of it as I’d like, since I was young, but I remember it being awesome.

The only one “well-known” rides I remember going on were Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and that one Dumbo ride, with all the others just being those generic “Disney movies told through rides” things (one of which was Peter Pan).

I still have my old autograph book, containing my one and only autograph (Jessie from Toy Story). I remember going to a restaurant based on Pizza Planet (where I met the aforementioned Jessie), and Planet Hollywood.

I also saw stage shows based on Tarzan, Winnie the Pooh (the costumed characters “spoke” with their official English voices, while the Christopher Robin face character either spoke French or with a very thick French accent), and a completely dialogue-less Mulan

I can also remember the parade theme fran “around the world” theme with floats based on different countries, and this absolute bop of a song:

We also still have the Christmas decorations we brought at their dedicated Christmas store.

Hope I can go again someday, so I can have memories that aren’t clouded by childhood fog.
