10/14: Unchained χ JP Update - Castle of Dreams, Premium Draw, Pooh's 90th Anniversary

KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained X Japan has updated with the long awaited Castle of Dreams story, as well as new medals in Premium Draw and an event to get accessories to commemorate Winnie the Pooh's 90th anniversary!

 

15 quests have been added, bringing players to the Castle of Dreams! The Grand Duke has been tasked with delivering invitations to all eligible maidens in the land to attend the royal ball, but he finds himself unable to proceed with all the Heartless that have appeared. It's up to you to defeat the monsters and fulfill the mission in his stead.

Players will also obtain the Stroke of Midnight Keyblade upon completing Quest 593. This Keyblade utilizes all three types of medals, and requires new materials such as Silk Hankerchief and Small Button in order to upgrade it! You can find these items in the new quests or in the Stroke of Midnight material farming quest available every Wednesday.

From 10/14~10/27, Premium Draw features Ursula HD Ver, Donald HT Ver B, Flotsam & Jetsam and Shark! Each draw guarantees at least 3 5★ medals and 1 of the 4 new additions, as well as a bonus Cid5.

Ursula is a voiced medal that comes with 3 ability slots filled and is capable of 80~150% Guilt, and is guaranteed within 5 draws! When her ability is used, she will say "" (Time for your punishment!)

Ursula HD Ver [1 target | 3 SP cost] Increases Magic Attack by 3 for 1 turn, inflicts 5 ultra-high power hits
Donald HT Ver B [Random target(s) | 2 SP cost] Deals 6 ultra-high power hits
Flotsam & Jetsam [All targets | 2 SP cost] Decreases enemy Attack by 1 for 1 turn, inflicts 1 hits
Shark [1 target | 5 SP cost] Increases Power Attack by 3 for 1 turn, inflicts 3 hits

During this period, Sephiroth Illustration Ver, Terra Illustration Ver and Marluxia Boss Ver will be available once again in the draw pool!

Sephiroth Illustration Ver [All targets | 3 SP cost] 5 ultra-high power hits
Terra Illustration Ver [All targets | 2 SP cost] - Increases Magic Attack by 2 for 1 turn, 13 high-power hits
Marluxia Boss Ver [Random target(s) | 3 SP cost] Ignores type, 13 hits

From 10/14~10/20, celebrate Winnie the Pooh's 90th anniversary with a new event quest! Collect coins from treasures and enemies, and redeem them for the Pooh Hat, Honey Pot and Bee Earring accessories!

The 15 quests were easy enough.
But didn't beat the Boss (600) in 2 turns... I wonder what strategy is needed...


Anyway. Now looks like we have to wait 2 weeks for some Cool Characters.
Only hope next week there will be some Premium Draw with old medals I like

Seeing all these newer medals with +3 attribute attack just means I'll need to save up jewels even more for the future. Right now I'm only gonna use them on Draws that either have a very high chance at Boss Marluxia (as in he's one of a few medals scripted to appear) or are all Reversed Medals to possibly buff my Org XIII medals more, and since Boss Marly is Reversed that helps narrow it as well. Looking forward to eventually seeing these medals in the NA version.
