Wants for Non-Disney Worlds (that will HIGHLY UNLIKELY APPEAR) in Future KH Games

Playing KH always gets me thinking, what if the game wasn't strictly Disney. KH would definitely benefit from worlds inspired by movies/shows from companies such as Pixar, Dreamworks and Studio Ghibli. Even though this is unlikely to happen (unless Disney goes bankrupt, which face it, isn't gonna happen soon) I want to hear you're opinions on worlds you would like to see in a KH game, strictly non-Disney.
One final note, try and avoid choosing films/shows that have no potential of fitting within Kingdom Hearts. I'm talking your Hunger Games, your Twilights and your Bill Cosby Shows. The more potential to work, the better.


Now I'll get this ball rolling.
Some films such as The Road to El Dorado, Anastasia and Cats Don't Dance have always stood out to me. They are all animated and have real potential. The Road to El Dorado has a variety of creative landscapes (similar to The Emperors New Groove and Atlantis: The Lost Empire) that would have a distinct art style (meaning cool looking heartless) and could have a minigame similar to the Ball Game they play in the film. Anastasia (by far my most passionate want for KH) could potentially have the story surround Rasputin sell his soul to obtain the power of darkness (like in the film) to kill the princess Anya (sounds similar?) and could even have Anya be a party member, due to her badassery and kick-buttedness (I did not just make that word up). Finally, and this is as borderline as I would preferably want this thread to go, Cats Don't Dance, as I REEEALLY want to see more development in Donald's and Goofy's characters, and what better way to do this then putting them in a world where animals struggle to make it big in Hollywood, where Sora is the odd one out and Donald and Goofy are the stars of the show (no pun intended).

The whole theme of the show is friendship. It would fit so well in Kingdom Hearts.

I'd like to think that Kingdom Hearts could use the Tartarus location from Persona 3. It would serve as a great "nest" storywise, for the heartless to reside in.

It would be a cool throwback to the location if this were the location for many powerful heartless that give massive amounts of exp.

Just my personal want for a world.

Yo I was thinking the same thing. He could ramble on about onions and when he get's really mad he calls Donkey and says "THIS IS MY SWAMP" and kills everyone. That would be the coolest.

Also a King of the Hill world where Hank Hill is a party member that would be the greatest. You have to rescue Bobby from the gat dang heartless.

True, but the chances of gravity falls being in KH is slim to none just like any other non-Disney franchise. Due to the fact that It is only a television show It probably wouldn't make it in either... I know it's still Disney, but I felt it needed an honorable mention :3

For Non-Disney worlds, I would've loved to see The Prince of Egypt and Anastasia.

Fern Gully, The Land Before Time, and Balto would've been fun, if they were only Disney. Of course, there are also a lot of Studio Ghibli films I love that I would've enjoyed as worlds. It's too bad the films that have the greatest likelihood of actually showing up in KH (Pixar films) are the ones I have the least interest in--except for The Incredibles. I wouldn't mind Toy Story as a replacement for Winnie the Pooh in future though.

Teen Titans and Avatar: The Last Airbender would make excellent non-disney choices in my book.

Great characters, action, and the theme of friendship is alive and well there too.

Not sure if the thread is too old to comment, as the last post was two weeks ago, but here goes.
Worlds I'd like to see:

-Content from non-Disney animated films like Anastasia and The Land Before Time.

During a boss battle with Rasputin, you'd have to attack the reliquary to damage him, and you'd have to protect Anya as well.
But unlike other escort characters, she'd actually be smart enough to try and defend herself, although she wouldn't do as much damage as you would, of course.

Bartok could come along with the party after the second visit, serving as a summon character. He'd use magic tracks and spells to attack, as he was a magician sometime before the events of Anastasia.

-A world based off the Pokemon anime. The first visit would be set on New Island and be based off Mewtwo Strikes Back, while the second visit would be set on the Orange Islands and be based off Pokemon 2000/The Power of One. Ash and his friends would have their memories wiped after the first visit, so they'd have to reintroduce themselves.

Ash would be a unique party member. He wouldn't do much damage by himself, but his Pokemon would also fight alongside him and attack.

-A Mario-based world in the Mushroom Kingdom. The storyline wouldn't be based on any specific game, but stuff from SMRPG and the Mario & Luigi games could be put in or referenced.

Not sure how any of these worlds would fit in with the general themes of the series, but oh well.

I definitely think an Avatar: TLA world would be a good pick for the Kingdom Hearts universe-- especially KH3.

In fact, I remember when I was a teenager, I constructed a timeline in my head of how Nickelodeon based worlds would be implemented into the Kingdom Hearts universe-- alongside Disney and Square.

KH1 would include:

-Planet Yokus as a visitable world; and Jimmy Neutron as a party member for the world
-Cosmo and Wanda implemented in the PY storyline eventually becoming summons.
-Spongebob Squarepants would be a summon as well, but only accessible through the Fairy Godmother after collecting a "Sponge" gem in Atlantica.
-Doug would be an accessory salesperson in Traverse Town, after Cid opens up his Gummi Block business.

KH2:
-It would include worlds for Fairly Oddparents (Dimmsdale/Fairy World) and Spongebob Squarepants (Bikini Bottom) and another Jimmy Neutron themed world (Retroville)-- and Pete would assist Professor Calamitus, Crocker and Plankton.
-Only Cosmo would become a Fairly Oddparent based summon in the game.
-A summon charm for GIR would be accessible, presumably during the 2nd visit to Retroville.
-Doug would be an accessory shop salesman again, but this time in Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion.
-In KH2 Final Mix, you could access a special Ultra Lord summon.

KH 358/2 Days:
-Only Dimmsdale/Fairy World and Retroville are visitable worlds with a few new added characters not scene in either KH1 or KH2; they would also include a few missions on days never explored upon in between days.

KH BBS:
-Only Fairy World is a playable Nickelodeon-based world-- and the main villains would be the Anti-Fairies.
-A Subplot within "Deep Space" with Invader Zim and GIR being held prisoner, only to be freed by either Ventus or Terra. And eventually be a boss battle for Aqua. Within the context of the BBS story, Zim would gain the ability to wield a key blade; that, and he would be free by the end of the game.
-A Bonus mission in Deep Space where you get to fight the Yolkians-- final battle would include King Goobot and Poultra.
-D-Links include: Cosmo/Wanda; Invader Zim/GIR; Goobot/Poultra.
-In KH BBS FM-- you'd get to fight Reptar. After you defeat him, you gain a Reptar D-link.

KH DDD:
-As far as I know, a Danny Phantom world would be implemented and would revolve around Vlad Plasmius trying to get revenge against Jack Fenton.
-For Sora's story-- the final boss would be Skulker.
-For Riku's story-- final boss is Vlad Plasmius.
-At this point, Zim decides to team up with Maleficent and Pete.

For KH3:
-Retroville; Dimmsdale/Fairy World; Amity Park would return as worlds.
-New worlds would include Avatar: TLA; Rugrats and Rocko's Modern Life.
-Summons would include: Korra, Reptar, Ren and Stimpy, Spongebob, Cosmo & Wanda.
-Zim would travel around world to world in trying to compose another heartless army (while Maleficent and Pete do the same in other worlds)

Some more non disney worlds that came to mind are willy wonka and a world based off of Dr Seuss


I would love to see Sora visiting the chocolate factory and a Dr Seuss world would so weird and surreal.
