Additionally, this month's prize for those who manage to climb up the rankings is the rare Second Chance II skill! This skill can help in a pinch, with the chance of leaving you with 1 HP when hit with a fatal blow, at an even greater rate than the previously released Second Chance! It was really good in places. I suppose I'm disappointed in the lack of event medals, and the fact that they didn't return any event medals at all.

The thing is, they're acting like Union Cross is our anniversary gift, but that's just not the case. We would've gotten it either way.
Kairi was a good anniversary-pull but other than that? What did we get? In comparison to Japan, it was underwhelming if you ask me.
I know, I'm comparing JP and NA again, but that's bound to happen.

Yeeah Coliseum is getting a lot harder, I thought I was safe at like 7500 just few hours before it ended but nope, final rank 10 032nd which is so annoyingly close that I honestly don't even feel like playing Ux right now..... :p I wonder what happened all of a sudden, I've been around 4000 every month, and now suddenly everyone and their mom can one turn a bunch of +15 or something enemies left and right. Oh well, maybe better luck this month. Too bad I didn't get the skill, now my Maleficent is useless.

I love this month's coliseum, or rather that they upped how many rounds you unlock if you one-turn aaand that they lessend the rounds from 999 to more doable numbers.
I'm tier 12 already and started 15 mins ago lol

I think it has to do with both KH2 Illustrated Kairi and people getting lucky with traits. Particularly getting buffers with Extra Attack.
I have Illustrated KH2 Kairi, but none of my buffers have the Extra Attack, unfortunately. It really puts me behind. =/

How come? I found it very easy...
Because I have big chunky fingers that get in my line of sight preventing me to see where I'm going while mantaining speed.
They also prevent me to avoid the enemies hitbox.
Also I don't like games that revolve around certain mechanics, and then throw you challenges with completely different skills required (mainly because they're often not that greatly implemented), but that's me.
Like, all my complaints about fingers wouldn't be justified... if this was a game that always revolve around motion challenges. This game is about medal improving and deck building and hey, I handle those pretty decently.
Then, sudden unjust handicap arrives that prevents me from getting what SENA believes are "Free Jewels for everyone".
Touch screen was progress' greatest stepback.

And my luck with pulls is just bad... Ehh whatever just gotta be patient and save jewels, someday I'll get a guaranteed good pull.

Thankfully I placed high enough in solo lux to get 2 magic gems, which I immediately used to raise my Counterpoint keyblade to lv. 29. ^_^ I so can't wait until it gets to 35 for that pink aura. XD

I have Kairi too, but not guilted so no skills on her. Basically none of my medals have skills because I haven't gotten anything but useless filler guilted since Union Cross started. Uh, if I were you I'd still put skills on my medals. Things like DB or SC, as an example. Even if they aren't guilted, AB's are still benefitial, so what's the point?

Pretty much me, but saving them because once the HSC ends I should still at least be top 5k with my 7mil score and can snag another, letting me put Divine Rose at +33. So close to that rosy aura and 20 SP by default...Granted, I'll need 9 total of both Speed and Magic gems for the last 2 levels (4 of both for +34, and 5 of both for +35) so it'll be a while. But it will be sooooo worth it.

Woooop, I'm interested in the Second Chance II. For now I'm just glad I got my AB3 Max + SP Gauge II for Belle and Beast. <3

Indeed xD I kinda felt like it was the wrong word but couldn't remember the right one so just went with it.
I'm not even going to check the reward for this month's Coliseum so that if I fail to get to top 10k again I won't feel bad oh man what a great plan I'm so smart.

Amen. Amen. Amen. I will take it one step further. NA Anniversary was abysmal. Warning of a SENA complaint post, for those who don't like to see that, just read on, nothing for you here...
SENA slapped NA players in the face. They rolled out Union Cross as the BIG part of our Anniversary!!! Union Cross was coming, anniversary or not. What did we get for a fairly big mark...one year Anniversary...We got 6,000 jewels and a cheap medal. You know what SENA could have done to garner good will and prove, PROVE they really give a darn about players, is given us 5 Mickey and Brooms...not just brooms, but 5 Mickey and Brooms instead of that cheap medal. So many of us are struggling to even guilt some of the Organization medals and other medals, that a gift of 5 M&B would not have cost SENA a thing. It would not have broken the NA game. No, it wouldn't have. But they just contemptuously and without shame, just went for our wallets! In Anniversary!! And then they slapped us again with greed and gave us Magic Brooms...behind a pay wall. And then to twist the knife in our back even further, they take away the Brooms. Just like that. No brooms anywhere in site after Anniversary. Malicious.
I am soooo disappointed and frustrated. Will I quit playing? No, I won't. But I will change the way I play. I was C2P, buying important VIPs when they offered great medals, purchasing Avatars with needed gems, and pulling for the big medals, IKairi2. But I will not be giving them more of my hard earned money. Nope. Where at least I gave SENA some of my money, they will now get little to none. I've had it with them. Why not put brooms in Coli this month? Why not part of Union Cross boards? Why not? Malicious.
Will they come out with some Summer Blockbuster event to benefit the NA players? I doubt it. But then, I don't give a hoot anymore.

In JP, brooms were handled pretty similarly. They weren't immediately in Coliseum and avatar boards after they appeared. Give it a month.
I'm not saying that SENA's money-making practices aren't absurd, I think we all know that... But the way they're handling brooms right now is completely expected. If a few months down the line brooms are still only appearing as VIP pack bonuses, then we can really start complaining. But right now given that they've followed the pattern of JP pretty similarly (originally they got Mickey and Brooms, and then the Brooms started appearing, originally only as VIP, later through other means) we need to give them a chance.

Like practically all Coliseum rewards, the skill will eventually appear on an avatar board where you can get 2, then be relegated to a Skills for Thrills banner where you can get infinite, before being outclassed. This month's reward you really only need 1 copy, so if it's that great, get it when it comes around next time.
Too bad I didn't get the skill, now my Maleficent is useless.
Assuming you're referring to Maleficent B, depending on the stats (and your other medals), it's still an extremely viable attack medal. Mine is boosted, with 1000+ Strength trait, 80% guilt, and Attack Boost IV skill (which is available now in the Pooh Avatar Boards). Stats are:
STR: 9212 +1000
DEF: 7148 +1000
It may cost 5 gauges, but coupled with buffers and debuffs, it's by far the strongest medal I currently have (including a couple guilted premiums).
Funny how easy it was to go from 9000 to 3500.
Yeah, Coliseum for non-whales is pretty much divided into 2 classes, 0-10000 and 10001+. Once you're within the Top 10000, people stop trying (but get pushed out quickly). Question, what are you planning to do with your AB3Max + SPGauge2? Tempted to use it on Xigbar B, but I'm unsure if something better is on the horizon.

I already used it on Xigbar B. He has been a regularly used medal for me for a while. Having Illustrated KHII Kairi made him viable. I only had an Attack Boost II on him, decided to wait for this skill to upgrade to Attack Boost III.

I agree completely. There's no way to dodge every enemy, and even if I kill everything that's just directly in my path in one attack, it still puts me over time.
I beat the Copter fleet which wasn't even that difficult to get ahead and I made it at 55 seconds or so.

The upgraded coliseum tiers are really cool. Now we can finish all the boards easier.

I don't like the timer thing :/ I can do it in 75 seconds or something but not in 60

I tried today; ended up killing that enemy to get there.
Yeek. At least I have good medals, but if they get higher I'll have trouble.
