This isn't the Most Absurd Name Challenge. Kurt is a well-known first name. Zisa is only exotic to Westerners.

That being said, it's a cute tie-in to the first game~ I'm not going to kill myself to get in it though. I've been enjoying my break.

Why not just scattered throughout the game as names for NPCs and whatnot? They might as well have strange or silly names, rather than "man," "woman," or "villager."

Like I understand their aim: Get a high score or whatever to become apart of KH3, a game that's has taken over 10 years to be realized, so you'll play KHUX 10x more than ever, but that just sounds damn tedious and discouraging in some regards.

I fear this "competition between fans" will turn out to be a sour sport. I fear cheating, hacking, bypassing, unfair advantages and all the rest will be used to some, if not all, extent.

And who typically ranks Top 500? (300?) Like will all releases feature the same players? Or will Japan's version of KH3 feature Japan's Top 500? Will NA's version of KH3 feature NA's Top 500? Or will EUR's version of KH3 feature EUR's Top 500?

I've seen this introduced to numerous kick-started games. More than often, all it is is a Thank You in the credits scene with your name. Will there be any role to your character in the actual game? I have a few guesses, but I'm not sure how far they are into development.

Mine might be a bit far-fetched, but I was thinking these lovely winners' avatars will be used in a Keyblade War scene. As previously stated, I'm not sure how far they are into development for this to actually be possible.

Yeah, I don't know. Like, it's cool they put additional stuff other than the HSC (and I have a huge chance in both, having almost 600 logins) but it's... how likely is it that they will pick someone who did crappy in the HSC but good in the other two? Like, the minimum range for the HSC to matter is 500.
Which means that even if I get 6 points with the other ones, there could be someone (many probably) who have both of those and the HSC for 7 points.

So in the end, the HSC still would determine everything. That is, IF they go by points total.

I mean, 300 names are a lot, even for special thanks. There's gotta be something else.
I find the Keyblade War memorial theory appealing: it would also make sense considering where these names are coming from.

I don't think that the names will be the names of the NPCs. They want your player name and the press release says it will appear in "a​ secret location". A Keyblade War Memorial is most likely correct at this stage.

How can we reach out to Square yo clarify the form submission stuff!

I reached out to SE to clarify the whole name situation, if all 600 names will be in the same version of KH3, or if the JPUX names are only in the Japan release and NAUX names only in the Global release.

It's currently undecided.

I started from level 1 and was able to level to 142 within a few hours by doing raid battles and using my team members medal. After leveling up, you can upgrade your medals without buying jewels or special items

We’ve just received clarification from Square Enix:

The 300 winners in KHUX JP will have their names included in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts 3.
The 300 winners in KHUX Global will have their names included in the English/International version of Kingdom Hearts 3.

I dread to imagine the look on most of the localization or dev teams' faces when they see all of the joke names.

I also submitted a form, hopefully the name I use in UX may catch their eye.

That's the thing. It's player names which are out there and some are jokey. I feel it loses the importance of this because it's not your actual name. You can change your player name at any time, so if KH3 launches, what's stopping someone from changing their name to one on the list and claiming they were chosen?

I, personally, would have much rather it be our actual names but I do understand why they didn't do that.

My player name in the game is my real first name. I suppose I should think of something if I wanted to submit a request to be considered for this. Princess Consuela Banana Hammock, maybe?

My name in UX is actually named after an entity in Greek Mythology. Specifically an entity closely related to time (not one of the Fates or Chronus. An actual hero.) I thought it was a fitting name given the nature of the series thus far.

Recently entered. I wasn't with the game from day one, but I've hardly missed a login since I started. Unfortunately, I'll still be about a week short of 300 days of logins, so I'll only have 3 points from the moogle medals. :'(

Ah well. Here's to hoping I still have a chance! (My player name is Somnus, by the way, just in case it does somehow get chosen.) We should definitely get a list of the names we're sending in going though, it would awesome if we could see at least one person from here get into the game.

This sounds like it could have a lot to do with putting keyblade wielders into the game. If so that would be awesome!

For some reason, my first thought on the names being used was as graffiti in Twilight Town. Just scattered here and there, and technically in one place because the names would all be contained within one world.

Yeah it's pretty unlikely I'll get in lol. As of now, I am 13 days short of playing 400 days and I am f2p with no luck, so no HSC for me. At least I'll have the moogles :')

But yeah, IF I get lucky enough that tons of players will be rejected for having inappropriate names, it's Alja just like my username.

Rather than trying to get as many Moogles as I can, I'm pretty much counting on everyone else's names sucking so bad that they'll just work their way through the pool until they get to me :')

I got my final Moogle medal and submitted my form. I looked up some names on a baby name website and found Umut, which is Turkish for 'hope' and I really feel it is a fitting name for the Dandelions who rebuild the world from the light in their hearts.

Got my form submitted. Only 2 entries for me. I used my real name which is pretty standard but not one you hear everyday. So if it appears, I won’t assume it was me that won, but I’ll still be pretty stoked to see my name included. Good luck to everyone and I hope to see at least some of the KHI community represented!

Not really, but waiting means having more points due to at least the Moogle medals. But I think you can re-submit if you want.

I have two points from my login days, three from the Toon Moogle medals, and pretty much none from the HSC because I suck a them. I hope some of us here on the forums get our names in!

We have no idea when they'll do the drawing, mostly because they already said winners would NOT be announced. We will have to wait for KH3 to see who won.

I submitted mine the first day and then again yesterday, to be sure about the moogle medals. I only had 2 points in log-ins as I did quit playing for a little, but I was only like 10 days short... It says the pick 100 people from each category so I assume we would all have the same chance of getting the moogle ones at least, but I assume one of you would make it in over me in the log-ins lol. The HSC will just give us 100 whales on the whatever it is they put the names on lol. I didn't care to try to get higher than I could, which was fairly high tbh.

If you guys run into Edlosan at any point in KH3. That's me and please pm so I can find it myself. That's if I make it with my 6 tickets :)
