Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- will be out in just less than 24 hours in Japan but people have already gotten their hands on early copies of the highly anticipated title! With these leaks coming in, we will begin to enact our spoiler ban on our forums so please tag all of your spoiler discussion with the appropriate spoiler tags!
Please keep in mind that none of the following information has been confirmed, so please take all of it with a grain of salt.
One 2ch user (ID: sJrrYW3B0) is playing through Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and has reported seeing Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] in HD along with the scene where Sora picks up the Master Keeper in the Kingdom Hearts III Announcement Trailer from E3 2013 during the credits of the collection. Here is an image of them starting on Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix:
Another 2ch user (ID: qgCERsQi0) has said that Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- contains the opening scenes of Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] & Kingdom Hearts 3D in HD. Again, keep in mind that this information cannot be confirmed nor has it been corroborated by another source. The 2ch user currently playing through Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix has stated that they only saw Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts 3D.
Update: Images confirming that the credits do contain Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] have surfaced thanks to the 2ch user (ID: sJrrYW3B0) who mentioned the credits earlier.

In a recent interview with Famitsu, Director Tetsuya Nomura briefly discussed how intricately tied the PC browser title Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] would be to Kingdom Hearts III and that he was working on both stories at the same time, but at this time the game remains to be a Japanese-only game with no prospects of a localization for now. He also mentioned how Kingdom Hearts 3D remains to be the only game in the series that has not been remastered and that they are looking into a solution for that problem.

I don't really want an HD KH3D game yet. I don't want them to divert their attention from continuing, and if Nomura is talking about how hard he's working on both already...

I get where you're coming from but if DDD is the only one getting a full remaster I don't think it will divert much if any from KH3 aside form Nomura's input on a few things. With how close 1.5 and 2.5 were released with two full game remasters and 2+ hour cut scenes for each, I don't think it would take too much to bring just DDD up to it. Especially if they just have the team doing the 2.5 remaster go to DDD. Now if DDD gets the whole re work from the ground up like Type-0 that could take a bit more, since they'd want it to look like a PS4 title to look up to par with KH3.
Now to see what they do with X[chi]...

Ok, initial excitement has soothed, time to extrapolate a bit.
We see KH3 and KH3D together in the credits. Previously when something has been teased in the credits (or teased post credits), it is the next game to be released. This leads me to believe that KH3 and KH3D will be bundled together.
KH3 is coming to PS4 and xbone, meaning KH3D would come to those consoles.
This would leave 1.5 and 2.5 behind however. Perhaps we would finally see a collection for PS4 containing all 8 games?
Might be getting a bit ahead of myself, but it's not that much of a stretch considering what's already happened with this series. It would be a perfect chance for the Xbox owners to get caught up on the series as well.

I'm VERY excited for a HD 3D! One of my favorite games, and I'd love to be able to play it on my huge TV. :D Now if they include Chi/collected scenes of important info., that would be the cherry on top.
I think the biggest concern for Nomura right now is localizing Kingdom Hearts X/chi. Kingdom Hearts 3D is not of the upmost concern, as most of it will be recapped in the first few hours of Kingdom Hearts III.

Well, the whole point of 1.5 and 2.5 is to get everyone caught up on the series in order to play KH3. So... it is a way to get everyone excited.
If a KH3D remaster does happen, I hope it's included in an ultimate collection for PS4/Xbox1 with the release of KH3 that includes HD ReMix 1.5&2.5 along with (at least) cutscenes for chi if we're not going to get the game.
The remixes being on PS3 with KH3 being on next gen isn't helping anyone.
Also, might not be a bad idea to put a handheld collection together on 3DS of CoM for GBA, days, Re:coded & KH3D for people who might actually want to play those games. They wouldn't really even have to remaster them. Just put them together in a set with CoM either put on a DS/3DS cartridge or included with a download code.

Well, the thing about that is that KHX can't really be delaying any Square Enix developed products. Keep in mind: Square Enix is not even KHX's developer. It's developed by an external company called Success Inc, a social game company with the time and resources to run it.
As far as Nomura is concerned, he needs to write new scenarios for KHX, which takes time from him but not the teams programming, drawing and assembling major projects, like a possible DDD port. He also needs to find a western social game developer to run the servers over here (or two, or three, or however many languages you need). That takes meetings, but again, not development resources. Hell, Square Enix's western division will probably handle most of it.
So KHX is most in the business side of things these days. As far as development resources are concerned, it's not getting in the way of any other projects, a DDD port or otherwise. In fact, he said a few days ago that KH3 was delaying KHX, and not the other way around, because for him, KHX is just a writing process he has to get right.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a 3DS anytime soon so I'd very much welcome 3DHD. I'd also like to see it include original cutscenes or something of that sort that tells whatever KHX has to offer. If there's any important information exclusive to KHX, that is.
What I'm mostly concerned about is if/when we'll get a localized KHChi. Would a Kingdom Hearts Legacy Collection for PS4 be cool? Yeah, for real. Would HD 3D be cool? ...I guess so. But if Chi is going to have any bearing on the story I'd like to play that or at least know the story without having to find someone who knows how to decipher moon runes.

Wii is a dead console. Wii U isn't really getting much 3rd party support, least of all from Square Enix. The PS3 is getting phased out sooner than later in the west than expected due to really strong sales of the PS4.
Also that just starts the console spread issue over again.
We are more likely to get KH3D as a standalone on PS4/XB1 than we are to see Days and Re:coded remade.

The way I see it, if KH3D can be summed up in a short little thing before KH3, Chi can DEFINITELY be summed up during or before KH3. From what we know RIGHT NOW, Chi doesn't really play a large role beyond the prophecy of the masters and that story can be summed up in a cute little cutscene in the beginning of KH3 (perhaps as the conversation between YMX and Eraqus?).
I wouldn't mind a 3D port with Chi stuff included to have everything but KH3 be on PS3 (since I don't see these collections being put onto PS4/XB1, too much time that would be put into something that I can't honestly see selling well and most people would just rage that it delays KH3) but we'll see if they released that next year and then did KH3 in 2016, which would be cool too :) It would sure be much shorter than either of the HD collections which consisted of 2 very large games + 1 hefty amount of cutscenes ^_^

I don't think SE would let a chance for extra money pass them by. Not to mention you don't put an HD remaster together with a big release like KH3. It doesn't make any sense.

As shown with Type-0 HD and FFX|X-2 HD, I don't think our only options are just the Osaka Team doing this stuff. There are companies out there dedicated to this kind of work.

Who are they going to blame for confusing plots? Square Enix.
What will Square Enix tell them? Play DDD.

Putting DDD as a separate release not only gets them more money, but it saves a lot of time and complaints.
Not only that, but the highlight of KH3D wasn't even the story. It was the huge-ass worlds and gameplay. It was practically a late-gen PS2 game on a 3DS. It'd be the greatest shame in the world to take that away from people when the gameplay systems in KH3D are the very systems that KH3 is inspired by. (Even if the Dream Eaters are less than appealing to most people.)
Bold half-plausible/half-absurd prediction: 3.5 Remix with DDDHD(FM), KH3 "Prologue" demo, & Chi Theater Mode.
Dream Drop Distance Final Mix
-Its a given we'll get DDD in HD, but the long shot is it being a FM version. On one hand, it wouldn't be right if DDD didn't get the update the other main entries had & there's definitely still things that they could add. On the other hand they probably wouldn't have the staff to spare on developing new content (maybe the theatrhythm crew?).
KH3 Demo/Prologue
-I've said before that bundling DDD with KH3 would be pointless because everyone will just play KH3. But DDD by itself would seem like a downgrade to consumers compared to the collections. What to do in lieu of another full game? Why a demo of KH3 of course! Even if short, it would be 100% new content instead of a rerelease so that may balance out.
Long shot: The demo is actually standalone content that could pass as its own game to an extent, a la Ground Zeroes, Dead Rising 2 Case Zero, or Dissidia Prologus. This way it would fullfill the 2 games & 1 movie quota by technicality. It could even be beneficial to KH3: No one wants a repeat of how KH2 started, so splitting a lengthy opening world off as a glorified demo would be win/win.
Of course by putting such a title on the disc the remix pretty much has to be PS4/XB1 & not PS3 by default. But really PS3's time has past & many want the other 2 remixes ported to the new systems. Might as skip having to port 3.5 as well.
Kingdom Hearts X Theater Mode
This is happening, period. Oh sure, they didn't show any KHX in those end credits but then there isn't exactly anything to even show at this moment so that probably doesn't count. If KHX's story is so essential & they still aren't localizing the game, this is pretty much the only option, ain't it?

Also, I've always sort of felt that the "Ground Zeroes" of KH is actually DDD, not necessarily in length but in purpose. CoM is similar in that regard.
I don't necessarily feel positively about cutting off an hour or two of KHIII for the purpose of buffing the content in a new ReMIX. Personally, I'd rather have KHIII all at once, all in one place, rather than segmented as MGSV has been.

I'll be honest, I don't necessarily want a playable DDD remaster either. Mostly because I'd feel compelled to achieve Platinum and I feel like it might be a pain, especially if Flick Rush is involved.
And while I don't want KHIII to have a Final Mix, I think this would be a pretty neat solution.

Based on that quoted interview piece, I think he's doing what square Enix wants him to do: equivocating. To me, that can be plans In The future to make a final mix of ddd.
Square enix has a thing for not giving clear answers, especially when it comes to future projects. So to me, a ddd fm is still in consideration.

Two of those titles are now complete, with the third still being made. Plus they did work directly on DDD so they know it better than anyone else. Not to mention they could just outsource it like Square did with Type-0 and X|X-2.

The last one definitely says that summer vacation or perhaps with context "my summer vacation", but it's not solely my summer
The DS version had Data-Sora say some stuff between the second and third screens shown on that post. I believe he experienced Roxas' hurt and memories, prompting him to say "My first... and last..." to which Data-Roxas finished for him with that "summer vacation" phrase.

I always thought they'd probably release 3D as a home console standalone port ever since 1.5
People just kept countering with "it's too recent". ;P
...which I don't understand - since when were there time restrictions on when you can port a game to a different platform? I think people just get too hung up over the marketing term "Remaster", implying that it is a treatment reserved for older titles in need to be updated and/or restored - even though porting games to more powerful platforms isn't exactly a recent invention.

They didn't patch the audio issues with 1.5 or X/X-2 and they didn't patch the difficulty trophies. They won't patch this. Besides, they can't. They'd have to re-render the CGI video.

You're not the only one. I can't stand issues like that. It's going to annoy the crap out of me, even more so because KH2 has a lot of nostalgia for me.

And he put up with it for a while. Answered questions, spoke English.
He's made this a shared experience, so when he verbally abuses people watching the chat and swearing at them, it looks a little disrespectful.
And personally, I found him answer the questions was so annoying. He stopped playing the game for about 10 minutes just to talk.
If I were in his position and there were a bunch of Japanese people commenting, I wouldn't care. I'm sharing this experience with them and they're enjoying it.

The difference is he can read English. Those of us who can't read Japanese could easily ignore it.
And "verbal abuse" is taking it a bit more seriously than I think is warranted. Obviously he was irritated, and he did elaborate on his feelings.
And don't pin all the blame on him, there were a few English chatters who weren't exactly respectful either. And it's a little disrespectful by default to come into a Japanese stream for a Japanese audience and speak nothing but English.
Regardless, it's his stream and he's allowed to do what he wants with it. If he wants to stop playing to talk with his viewers, he's more than welcome to. If he wants to ban English speakers, he has every right to do so.

Did he really say that? Saying you're "kinda" racist would be like me saying I'm "kinda" a girl. You either are or you aren't.
From the way y'all are talkin about the guy, I definitely don't want to watch. Doesn't sound like they're worthy of a view from me. I'm happy to just wait for a time when there isn't a rude person blithering in my ear during play. I shall simply blither for myself.
