So a few years ago on this forum one of my first posts was this thread.

The person I talk about here isn't the same, but you'll understand it better if you read it ^^

To say that I care is an understatement, disrespectful even
To say that the world is as big as your heart is too small
Those clouds, you remember them don't you, the dreams
If you could recapture the years, they'd be as gentle as your soul
It's been a privilege to know what caring is
To caress joy, in the dialogue between the faceless and I
yet you are no stranger to me, how you've humbled my mind
It's a sincerity I've been lacking for a long time
A kind of compassion thats easy to forget, but you don't let me
The world has gotten crazier, the years are demoralizing
I've been mortified at times, but I can't forget for spirit
It's made me so much bolder than I can remember, and I've lived
So thank you so much for your uncorrupt honesty
thank you for showing me, teaching me, humbling me

I'm only speaking from the heart but, it feels like this person helped you grow and taught you a few things. Which can be a beautiful thing because, the people we interact with helps to shape us. Even if it's on bad terms, there's still some good beneath all of that. Perhaps a lesson to be learned too; depending on the situation of it? Or sometimes you discover something about yourself years later about what kind of person you are independently through an experience or two. Either way, this was a beautifully written and makes me think a lot. :)
