Hey guys! Another musical thread! What songs do you have in your top 15? I had it at 10 at first but there's just too many to limit it to 10. Not including any Songs from Utada Hikaru. It doesn't have to be in order from least to greatest or anything. You can list any memories that you have to the songs and why they're your favorite.

This was extremely tough. Mostly because of tracks from KHI that had awesome variations in KH DDD. There are slight variations in the 1.5 and 2.5 versions but I prefer the original versions from the PS2

Here's mine! In no particular order. My list is a bit arbitrary and a few songs will switch from time to time but for the most part, these are them.


1. Traverse Town KHI - Listening to this always reminds of the dim city lighting. It reminds me of when I first played the game and how much you could explore. https://youtu.be/mmiWjG0N21w

2. Hollow Bastion KHI - Those upward rising waterfalls! This just made me feel like I was so far into the game. Like I was slowly unraveling the mysteries behind Hollow Bastion. I'd always read the Ansem Reports here. https://youtu.be/4nlCNVewMjA

Oh God; because I'm lazy and this is so tough, I'm just gonna throw some out from the first game:

I love the commercials for KH and KHII that feature Simple & Clean and Sanctuary.

No particular order b/c I love all my children equally:

• Musique pour la Tristesse de Xion, 358/2 Days, fav. arrangement is the Piano Collections rendition - maks me cryy evertim
• Fantasia alla marcia for piano, chorus and orchestra, KH2 - the staff roll music after Passion
• Traverse Town, KH1, because I love that saxophone.
• Lazy Afternoons, KH2, Twilight Town's theme, because I suppose I more accurately love those woodwinds.
• Every rendition of Destati (from every Dive into the Heart sequence franchise-wide) - I think I just have a thing for dope Latin choral arrangements.
• Fate of the Unknown, KH2FM Secret Ending - I used to put this track into workout mixes to get myself amped up.
• Darkness of the Unknown, KH2, Xemnas Boss Fight, because of visceral memories of mashing Triangle and X and feeling thrilled.
• Dearly Beloved, no real preference between renditions. Don't think this one needs explaining.
• Passion, but ideally the original rendition off of Utada's album Ultra Blue because it has one small extra bridge in there before the ending "My fear, my lies" portion that got cut from the ~Opening Version~.
• Organization XIII, KH2, b/c that shiz is iconic.
• Roxas, KH2, swinging back to "piano songs that me cry so good"
• Hazardous Highway, KH2, lower down on the list because while its electric guitar makes it worth noting, most of its musical motifs are lifted from Darkness of the Unknown.
• Destiny Islands, KH1 - I prefer the KH2 refrain, but given how short that version is, I'll opt for the original
• Scherzo Di Notte, KH2, b/c mmm mm that piano~
• The 13th Struggle, KH2, b/c BURN, BABY
