around a 9/10. the movies were good, the gampley was a bit ez but nonetheless good, the graphics were good, but the game gets boring after u play it the 1st time. it's not the type of game u can play 50 times.

I give it 5/10. Compared to original, it sucked in my opinion. Sure they upped the battle system and graphics, but the story line had way too much unnecessary stuff. The music was great, and really set the mood, but the characters in the game (including the FF characters) all looked too cartoony. (In KH, there was a clear distinction between Sora's graphics and Donald's graphics, but KH2 didn't have it.) On top of that, the battle system became too action oriented, making most fights easy to get through with little though required. (when compared to KH anyway) Yeah I'll give it it's props, it was a good game. But in this cause, I believe the sequel failed to surpass the original. Maybe KH2:FM+ will change that.

People who haven't played CoM are like "WTF is this." Kairi plays a slightly more important role, but giving her a Keyblade at the end that magically disappears when they fight Xemnas? Come on.

I haven't exactly voted, but I am giving my opinion.
I was very disappointed with the whole game. When I finished it and watched the end FMV, I seriously sat there and screamed "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?". Not only was the game far too easy, but you seemed to zoom through all the worlds without even realising you passed through them.
The storyline was now way too hyped in my opinion. After D/D and ASAS, I thought the story was going to be exciting, emotional and full of surprises and a lot darker than KH1.
I never got any of this. All I got was not even a half baked storyline, characters were poor, the storyline lacked any real motivation. It had so much potentional, but it seriously did flop.
Roxas is included in that. I thought he would've played a bigger role, after you finished with him, that was it. He was never really fully mentioned until the end of the game, when Organisation XIII came in.

Hey buddy I'm a girl... and I'm not really a fangirl either. Sure I'm a fan.. but I'm not that obsessed... Matter of fact the only times I restarted the game was cause my little cousins wanted to watch.... I've really only played an beat the game once... and that was a year ago..
and I agree a person should look at a non kh fans point of veiw... I know some serious gamers at school who thought the game was pretty good. My friend thought it was the dumbest thing ever but then she played it alittle and never gave me back the controller.... But the purpose of this topic is to give it what you think the game diserved... Not what you'd think other people would think of it...
IGN was right to give the game a 7.6/10! After all, the game was too easy, even on Proud Mode. The story was meh. I did like the graphics and all, but some looked better than others. Reaction Commands and Drive Forms made the game even easier. It's because of those reasons that I prefer the original KH instead.
I went with a 7/10. Overall I was pleased with the game, but the original was much harder, and I mean c'mon, you would expect a sequel to be geared towards people who played the original, therefore, making it harder? The battle system was much more enjoyable, I really enjoyed the reaction commands. (Haha, I'm replaying KHI right now and keep mashing triangle expecting something to happen.) The Limit Forms? They were awesome, but made boss battles way too easy. So, no quite a 10/10, but not so bad that it deserves a 5. So, 7/10 for me.
i'd give it a 8 1/2 out of ten ... i am a kh fan guy as most of you refer to as someone like me....kh was the better of the 3 games cuz it had a great storyline and it gave pretty hard gameplay to it , i mean it took me to get to level 100 to beat seperioth and i got the whole heartless and princesses and the keyholes... i never got to play com so i can't say its good but i"ve read what on some websites and it seems good cuz sora fights alone and i like that cuz theres no one to get in the way...kh2 was good cuz the gameplay pace was quickened and all the drive forms and limits...but in my opionion that game was seriously rush to come out... i say that cuz half the abilities i actually used in kh were takin out... and then the main point of kh was to destory the darkness and seal kingdom hearts... then in kh2 it said that darkness is okay and you need darkness without light and stuff... but in kh it said that along time ago there was no darkness and light was the only thing... WHATS UP WITH THAT..

I love the game, and it's definitely one of my favorites, though I agree with the fact that it was much too easy... But I like the charcters (Axel! *huggles plushies* squeeeeee)
However, compared to the first KH, KH2 was a bit of a dissapointment...

i would give it an 8-it just lacked that extra "umph"
8/10 for me. It wasn't perfect, but it was overall a cool game to play. And that Atlantis thing was kinda gay.
I gave it a 7/10 the story was okay but it felt like it was missing parts. Also most of the boss battles were to easy even on Proud mode, I really like how they made little improvments to the gameplay. The drive forms were okay and some of the reaction commands were cool, but made some boss battles to easy.

i gave it a 10/10 when i voted because it was pretty good, but overall the battles were to easy (i mean come on, its harder to beat the last boss in kh 1 then it was in kh2and the last boss in kh2 really sucked)

I honestly could care less, about what alot of people say about KH2. :/ How it was all washed up, and a complete mimic of a game. T.T; I loved KH2, and I know I'll be playing it years from now.
