Well... I figure I should revive this thread to talk about Outsiders coming out last week. Hopefully people are still into this show and want to talk about it. At this point six episodes have come out. They are definitely taking advantage of the fact that they aren't airing on CN anymore. I actually kind of wish they were releasing them one per week but this 3 per week schedule is fine.
The show takes place 2 years after the end of the last and from here I slap on some spoiler tags.
Has anyone else gone ahead and got the subscription to watch the episodes? The service has like nothing to it besides this, Titans, a handful of other shows and a small selection of movies. Super annoying but damn I think YJ is worth it.

Spoiler ShowWell basically Batman, Green Arrow, Katana, Plasitic Man, Batwoman, and Hardware all quit the Justice League because Secretary General of the UN Lex Luthor makes it impossible for them to do anything. So they're all becoming vigilantes again. Kaldur is now AquaMAN and is the leader of said Justice League. M'gann is the leader of The Team, but Robin, Spoiler, and Arrowette all leave with Batman and Green Arrow. Wondergirl and Black Canary are pissed about all of this happening. Black Lightning also quits because he accidentally killed a human girl on Rann whose power was becoming a lava monster. She was a victim of meta-human trafficking. This has become a major problem on Earth. Tara Markov has also been kidnapped. She was saved by Wally West in that episode where he did a solo mission on his birthday and saved her from Vertigo. Her older brother Brion (Geo-force) finds a way to get himself powers so he can find his sister and save his country. It backfires when his uncle conspires to have his parents, the King and Queen, killed and tries to get Brion exiled. Brion's brother Gregor, the heir to the throne, is wise to all this and arrests his uncle but is unfortunately forced to exile his brother as well. Batgirl is Oracle now. Besides Brion, we get introduced to Halo and Forager. Those three, lead by Nightwing are what I'm assuming are the "Outsiders". M'gann's brother, her bio-brother not Beast Boy, is trying to start a war on New Genesis between some sentient bug people and the New Gods. He's doing this to try and somehow get help with starting a rebellion on Mars for the white martians. Tara Markov may possibly be a League of Shadows assassin. This gets basically confirmed when Ra's al Ghul tells Nightwing that he is no longer their leader. Presumably Deathstroke is which would make sense with the Terra storyline. Talia al Ghul has a baby (Damien) and in the latest episode there is EXTREMELY strong evidence that Jason Todd is now alive. Like basically he is alive.
So yeah I'm pretty excited by everything that's happening. Beast Boy is an actor in a show now, just like his mom, and has made his power public knowledge and is part of the show. But he's still a good guy. Another huge Batman story happens between seasons again with the Oracle thing but it looks like we'll get to see the return of Jason Todd. There seems to be a theme of resurrection going on but I wouldn't get your hopes up for Wally guys. He's out of sight but not out of mind. Dick and Artemis are still pretty broken up by it. Also, Roy Harper and his clones are all in the same episode. The clones go by Jim (Guardian) and Will (Red Arrow). So that was a fun episode I thought. Will has his own security company. There's a lot more violense too. Like they basically show two kids getting killed and the assassination of the King and Queen of Markovia was pretty bloody. No swearing though. But I think the wait was worth it. Apokalypse and Darkseid seem to be in the background but it looks like they'll be more of a focus in the second arc of this season. I think the first arc will be more about Terra and finding out who leads the League of Shadows. I'd like to see what's going on with Batman and Green Arrow soon, but I'm sure we'll get that in due time.
