Well as the title says. If this is the rong place, feel free to move or delete.

Ok well i am practicing for this thing called a Catllion. (spelling?) And well its this thing were a girl has 3 chamberlones(spelling again?) who are like ushers for her, and get to dance with her n all that for her 15th birthday. (its all erm fancy wear with tuxedos etc.) And well after all that is done, we have to do this thing called a "Surprise Dance" and well her family picked some song and we have to dance with some vests that show our upper body.

Ok now problem, im not skinny or fat, kinda in the middle, but i wana look good if 300+ people are going to be looking at me (yeah i know too many people >.<) ok so what i wana know is that does anybody know any exorcises dat can get me a six pack or atleast something noticible by the time of the Catillion? its in 2 months. (Aug. 25. 06) I know this seems alittle desperate but i would really apreciate if ya guys would help. Thanks.

Yoga (Is very good for the body in general, but is good for the chest, depending on what type of Yoga you do. It might increase in size though.) I can't name specifically at the moment, but it isn't that hard to find. Probably Hatha yoga is as specific as I can get right now. Yoga I suggest the most, it'll lean up and tone your abdominal and chest region especially. Try pilates as well for the "six pack" you say, that focuses on the abdomen the most.

And get protein in your diet. WITHOUT EATING MEAT Try natural protein drinks, they taste disgusting, but have tons of protein. You can probably pick them up at some health food store.

Hmm well i would try that idea accept dat whenever my parents see yoga, they think its preporation for sex (x.x) so yeah umm i have to cross dat out sry >.< but i will try the protein drinks. Any other advice, mayb normal exorcises? i need to get it within 2 months.

Well, pilates might look retarded to your parents, but it looks nothing like sex... Unless your parents think you can do sex in the oddest of positions. And none of the yoga poses that look anything like sex help you with your upper body. Don't expect to gain any muscle, but you will definatley become toned. I forget my specific yoga and pilates, but if you look it up, just make up a basic routine, probably a 20 minute one.. You'll be ready in 2 months, definatley.

I suppose if you're into the whole weight lifting thing, do chest and abdomin excersizes. Which, I once again, cannot name specifically. Don't take too much of the protein drinks, you don't need that much, just enough to help your tone out or build up your body. Maybe once every other day or so.

I'm currently a VIP Gold membership at my Yoga Class, Lol j/k.

The chances are quite slim for anything to happen within a few months unless radical changes are made. Which is actually sometimes dangerous, especially with diet changes from one extreme to another... My best advice would be to eat healthy, regular exercise (20 Minutes per Day) and DON'T STRESS!, good luck kido'.

I recomend some tredmill work, along with plenty of sit ups. Its best to be toned all over, just not in one area. Go to walmart and find some simple exercise tapes to help you out. Lifting weights also works some parts of the chest area, depending on which ones you do.


Don't get to extreme, 2 months is a lot of time.

To simply lose weight, I might suggest going vegetarian for a temporary time and then lifting weights but don't over do it cause you might look more buffed than thin. By the way, yoga doesn't make you look like your getting ready for sex though maybe for others...it can be true like say your parents. *shudder* Don't want to imagine that.

lol i know creepy >.> but i dont wana get skinny, its more of like erm just somethin to show, cuz well im not fat..or thin either, but my belly sticks out a bit and yeah might wana work on dat lol

Just do sit ups, v ups,( It's when you kep your legs straight and lift them up as you lift up your upper body and hit the tops of your feet like doing a double sit up) Do sit ups really slowly and do sit ups to the side. Those exercises made the gorgeous six pack I have today, or if your in a hurry go to the gym and get an ab lounge or something, for sit ups each day you can never do too many, 50 is great but with 200 that six pack will come 4 times faster so just whenever your about to go to sleep turn uo the music and work out like there is no tomorrow and listen to rock music, your abs will be so awsome that the ladies will drop their jaws.

Select one or two of the exercises from exercises for the abdominals. You don't really need more than one or two and you don't need to do them more than two or three times a week at most. If you do you risk hurting yourself more than you benefit yourself.
Next comes the very true adage of "Six packs are not made in the gym, they are made in the kitchen".

To be perfectly honest, your muscles barely need any definition to look like the abs of those people with "washboard abs". They simply have almost no body fat. To get a six pack, you need to reduce your body fat to around 8% if you are male, or 14% if you are female. The way to do this is with regular aerobic exercise and a diet wherein you burn more calories than you take in. Eating a large amount of protein, say 40%, is recommended. nothing tops simple crunches like a combination of simple ab exercises and a healthy diet. The abdominals are more like an accordian than a hinge. Bearing that in mind, don't trust exercise machines that treat them like a hinge.
1. The classic crunch(not the sit-up, don't do sit-ups)
2. Oblique crunch
3. Reverse crunch
4. Hanging, bent-knee raise
5. Elbow to knee roll-up
6. Dumbbell side bends

Its for a good cause man, no man is a man if he doesn't help his fellow men to get nice abs to please the ladies, I hope you will have a nice hard six-pack by then.
