Xigbar's connection to Ven

I'm confused. Do you guys think xigbar had a connection to ven

Otherwise why would Xigbar see something of Ven in Xion, or anyone for that matter, if he never met Ven?

Yes. In KH II he said that Sora isn't "half the heroes the others were". The "heroes" are Terra, Aqua and Ven which gives a connection

I think he meant more of a connection than simply seeing or witnessing them...

It's possible that Xigbar might had met TAV in BBS.

It's hinted that he's seen the three of them enough to gauge their skill as a Hero of the Keyblade.

Whether or not he actually met and spoke with them is something else.

Personally, I don't think so except for the connect that they are the two oldest (looking anyway) nobodies of Organization XIII, and they used to work together (At the lab and as Organization XIII).

That's all I can think regarding their "connection."

I think Braig might be the dark apprentice.
Since it is likley Terra is Xemnas/Xehanort, it would explain how Xigbar is Number 2 and how they know eachother AND how Xigbar knows TAV.
The main factor against this theory is the weapon shift, but, like everyone is saying, if it is a high possibitly that Terra is Xemnas, then is must be equally likley that Braig is the Dark Apprentice, is Terra goes through a weapon's shift, why can't Braig?
Maybe they lost their keyblades because their hearts weakened when they began their research on the heart(Like Riku lost the keyblade because his heart was weaker then Sora's)

The theory has many holes to be filled in, but it's a start -shrugs-

Yes i do believe that their is a connection between Xigbar and Ven.

I also believe that they have some sort of connection, and if it is not with him, then it is with one of the three, because he mentioned a lot of interesting stuff in KH2 that relates to Birth by Sleep, so basically I think that Braig has some kind of role in it.

Braig just saw them at the least. He most likely knew of their exploits as well.

Yea, I agree with the fact that he MAY be the dark soilder...but please recall that the DS was awfully short in size compared to Xigbar/Braig. Soooo, there's more of a chance that it IS NOT Braig at all. Apparently the connection isn't all that deep, so basically, Xigbar's connection with Ven/Roxas is most likely just the fact that they met in BBS.

I think that while VAT explored in Radiant Garden they could've gone to AtW's laboratory or something like that and ask him about MX maybe even fight...That's how Braig could see VAT fight...

That actually sounds very possible other than what was said about Braig and Dark Apprentice´s height. That kinda throws it all off but even so, thats probably the best theory Ive heard in a while. props
