Uh, it's not stated that he's Xehanort's Master.
It's kinda implied. The master's keyblade hanging on the wall on display as he trains apprentices? The master's favorite story is about the "Lost Masters" someone who lived through the keyblade war would know that story well. Many many hints that it's the case.

Maybe One is going with the assumption many have that Luxu was Xehanort's master, which is not the case if that was it.
Xehanort's master might've been one of Luxu's bodies.
I kinda think it was, too. It's probably how Luxu knew Xehanort was "the one".

So I'm guessing the MoM's eccentric personality eventually rubbed off on Luxu. Cause that would certainly explain Xigbar's mannerisms and behavior

I'm starting to wonder if it could be a side effect of sorts. Either from all the body hopping, just being around for so long, or from constantly seeing through the eye.

Theory time-Luxu has a yellow eye. His body hopping gives people yellow eyes through No Name. Hence Xiggy and Nort’s yellow eyes.

(DISCLAIMER: Not a serious theory)

What if it's the opposite and it was the MoM who saw how Xigbar acted through the Eye and decided to adopt his demeanor? It would be hilarious.

But I like to think that Luxu takes his Master as a model when he has to put on an act. That would be sorta cute.

That theory may be not as much of a crack one as it appears at first glance since it was more than once given special attention (and zoom in) to those golden eyes.

Braig didn't have them initially in BBS but after his confrontation with Xehanort (who wields No Name) he has.
In the KH 3 opening Xehanort is shown without the golden eyes (before he gets No Name) so while Nomura initially said the golden eyes are an indicator of a connection with Xehanort, it might in reality be actually a connection with the No Name blade.

That doesn't explain Aqua though.

That moment when you realize the reason Xigbar keeps seeing Ventus in everyone isn't because of BBS but because he was with him in the Age of Fairytales

Subject X (the girl that Isa and Lea were searching for) was taken away by Xigbar. Terra-Xehanort assumed that Ansem the Wise took her away, thus the birth of Emblem Heartless and Organization XIII came to be.

Now the question I have is, what did Xigbar do to her?

The thing with Chess Xehanort's silver eyes is that Young Xehanort had yellow eyes before the time travel. And that stuff is supposedly before he left the Destiny Islands. At least in his render. Not sure if we see his eyes in-game.

Out of left field, but in a good way. Nobody expected him, but nobody minds either.

Remember back in the day when Gelandporn came up with the Reincarnation theory? What if Luxu was the one to have the gift of being reincarnated over time in order to fulfill his role? It'd be different enough from Master Xehanort's body snatching.

I don't think it's rebirth/reencarnation. The way he describes it, it's the same thing Master Xehanort did with Terra: remove his heart and push it inside someone else's body, making that "his vessel". I imagine he became close to the family of Bluebloods (descendants of the Keyblade Wielders from KHx/KHUx) in order to have a close watch on No Name, and then decided to have a more active role once Xehanort got his hands on it.
