How come he knows that the armor belongs to Aqua? (or atleast an old friend)

The MX part of Terranort became Ansem SoD and the Terra part became Xemnas, so somehow Xemnas would have gotten memories of Aqua and Ven (which is why he visits Aqua's armor and is so intent on finding the Chamber of Wakening). I think thats what happens.

Which is MX's heart.

The MX part of Terranort became Ansem SoD and the Terra part became Xemnas

Which is Terra's body and soul.

I think BbS taught us that a heart can change the appearance of a body.

First of all, Terra's heart is inside his armor even after ten to eleven years, as seen as the secret boss battle in KHII FM+ which just recently became canon. Also, what makes you think that hearts cannot interact from a distance? Sora's and Ven's heart did the same thing. :/

Ok the translators call it Terra's Thought Armor or "The Lingering Sentiment" no where does it say that Terra's heart is dormant within the armor. As a matter of fact the secret ending is entirely contradictory to that. What you're stating is on the edge of being fanfiction.

In the secret ending we clearly see Terra and Master Xehanort's hearts inside Terra's body. We dont see anything even suggesting that Terra's heart was dormant in the Armor from the moment that Terra and Master Xehanort fused.

Then why does Terra's armor gets a mind of its own and attack Terranort? It can't be Eraqus' heart because it fused with Terra's.
