yep and that would be a connection right? although i find it weird that xaldin woudn't notice a mouse in a black coat. sora and friends spotted him immeadietly if im not mistaken.

personally i don't think he used the coat to go undercover, rather to not be bluntly obvious to his enemies that theres a king walking down the street. but that's just my opinion.

well, in CoM, he was undercover in the castle without the cloak, only he was in a hologram type form for most of it... and he wasn't always with riku, so he could have been pokin' around the castle for some of that time, maybe even learning some secrets

im not so sure wasn't the king still in the dark realm for like most of riku's story and then actually comes to him flesh and blood to him more at the end. i dont think he would have time investigating since he still had to run all those stairs. and then they left right away.

what are the odds that two for the most part unconnected characters have a similar attack, both by the name of "Pearl"? Last i checked, thats not a common name for an attack in an RPG.
