Hello,
One of the first things you're taught in a paleontology course are the effects of oxygen on organic forms of life. It's common knowledge in the scientific community that this is the reason most of the insects/amphibians we find in fossils today are so large (take the meganeura, a dragonfly species that grew to be the size of hawks when fully grown). And apparently, the effects it would have on humans is both good and bad, you would initially pass out from too much oxygen to your brain but over time your body would grow accustomed to it. the greatest effect this would have is the power it gives your brain, regular people would have the stamina and durability of olympic champions, able to run for far distances due to the prevalence of oxygen. our greatest minds would come up with idea after idea and potentially advance our species further. In addition, more oxygen makes places that are normally scarce in it (like mount Everest) habitable to humans. Despite these good things, more oxygen would mean a shorter lifespan, so what limited time you would have on the planet would be diminished further.
So with this info, would you live with more oxygen despite the risks, or would you prefer living with the normal amount.
