would kh2 final mix+ work??

hi guys, i bought a ps3 in the US and im not sure if kingdom hearts final mix+ would work, if anyone can answer this, please help??

First, I don't own a PS3 so I can't say from personal experience, but in my knowledge of the PS3 I am fairly confident in saying that you Can't play KH2FM+ on an American (non modded) PS3. The reason for this is while PS3 games are not region specific, meaning you can play a Japanese game on an American PS3; PS2 games are still region specific. So the hardware can't run the game, because it is ultimately the software that tells it what to do.
Sorry, apollog, I recommend breaking out the old PS2, getting some tape, tissue, and straw, and pay the 25 bucks for Swap Magic like the rest of us
People can say otherwise, but I'm not paying 400 dollars to found out for sure. But this is how it works so... yeah... tough luck

It would only work if you mod it. PS3 games are region free, but PS2 are locked to the PS3's region.

To save yourself the hassles buy a second hand pre-modded PS2 mate, that's what I'm doing!

This will also allow for you to play the the first Kingdom Hearts Final Mix! Don't forget.

Sony stopped production of the 60GB and 20GB model of the PS3 a year ago

Nope, get a jap PS2 or mod a PS3, or buy a swap maagic and mod yyour PS2

Nope. PS3's are region free, but not with PS2 games.

First off: Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ is a PlayStation 2 Game. Wait... that's all I have to say.

The PS3 can play PS2 games. But not imports because of the region (unless your system is modded).
