Hello, Insiders.
So I was thinking about the possibility for March's JP story update. Saw a brief discussion on it as well. I don't play JP but I've been more or less following the gist of what each of the updates are (though I haven't completely watched them in their entirety, just the parts I wanted to know).
I would imagine (and you can correct me if I'm wrong) usually unless there's some kind of announcement, or unless the previous update made it clear, there's *no* way to tell for sure what the next story update in JP will be centered on or where it will be set, correct?
So IIRC (and again, correct me if I'm wrong), all the Disney world sagas are finished in accordance with how they finished in Chi (including Agrabah, even though it apparently didn't have a title screen?), but the main story left off at the "Seeds of Hope" scene and still has yet to 'diverge' and we are uncertain when that will happen, correct?
So the logical conclusion would be that we could either get more filler, more main story, or... one of the remaining two new Disney worlds which have yet to be revealed (or on the off chance more Agrabah).
For some reason most seem to be assuming that last option (a new world), and not sure if this is based on anything. But the thing is... usually when there is something like a new world coming, Nomura gives us a heads up and advertises/hypes it. Like all the promotion Castle of Dreams got before October.
Surely this also happened in Beast's Castle? Wasn't really following then. But it's the same as the other KH titles, all Disney worlds are revealed somehow in trailers and magazines prior to release. IIRC they've never 'withheld' a Disney world up until the release.
Or... have they?
So does it seem plausible that they would throw in a new world that we literally will have no idea about until the update hits? Seems like a stretch, especially if it's a world brand new to the KH series (which this game is supposed to have apparently). Would seem strange playing it without Nomura ever having advertised or hyped it up or announced it.
I mean there's still maybe a couple weeks for that to happen. If a new world is next should we be anticipating an announcement?
