So I figured I'd make a little thread highlighting the multiple things that I'm working on reminiscent to my "sneak preview♥" thread (but with a lot more content). I guess this can also help me evaluate what kind of things people on the forums want to see from me in terms of content. Please feel free to comment on any of the snippets I've posted. Let me know if you want to see more, or if you really just don't care.
Please keep in mind that these are rough drafts of the final product. There may or may not be errors that need mending. I'm just trying to get a general idea of what people think.
Thanks bros!

- Based on an RP, from our very own forums, with the same name. KH inspired fiction! This will be an edited, streamlined version of the content in order to ensure ease of access, continuity, and even some bonus content that never made it to the actual RP. If you're interested in the source material (which you totally are) then please go ahead and click on the link! This RP won the forum award that year for best RP over Org XV. If you're curious to know what would happen if Marluxia beat Sora in Castle Oblivion then this is the fic/RP for you!
Spoiler ShowWas any of this real? Or not? Sora often pondered the nature of his situation when it was revealed to him that he was one of the few Keyblade wielders. At such a young, tender age he discovered that the fate of the worlds depended on his success. Often he looked towards the Light for guidance and found strength within his friends and loved ones. However, a mysterious castle, coined as Castle Oblivion, lead Sora to lose in order to remember but to remember in order to lose.
Upon learning of the Nobodies and Organization XIII, Sora attempted to triumph over those who meant ill-will to the future of the worlds. Unfortunately, he was defeated by the Graceful Assassin, Marluxia.
With the newfound ability to wield the Keyblade due to reasons unknown, Marluxia’s lust for power and deeply rooted corruption lead him to overthrow Xemnas (then leader of the Organization) while also terminating Numbers II and III. Although XIV, X, and VII were spared, newcomers Roxas and Xion somehow disappeared. The other members who had remained were promoted in their ranks.
The new organization, led by Marluxia, was then renamed to the XIII Order. The goal had remained the same, to rise from nothingness and regain the hearts that were lost. In essence, to become something out of nothing. The answer lies in the form of Kingdom Hearts.
After learning of the death of his best friend, Riku managed to triumph over the darkness in his heart and learned to manage it for his benefit. With his newfound power and ability to wield the Keyblade, Riku is determined to bring an end to the XIII Order with the Restoration Society, a group of highly talented individuals who are committed to bringing an end to the XIII Order and preserving the sanctity of the worlds.
And thus begins our tale…
CHAPTER ONE: LET KINGDOM COME
They all waited patiently, silently, and nervously. He was coming, the supposed emperor of the XIII Order, in just a few moments. It almost seemed as if time stood still in anticipation for his arrival while the residing Nobodies sat upon their leveled thrones. The higher your number, the lower you sat. Number I belonged to the new leader, The Graceful Assassin, while Number II sat a few feet below him and so on and so forth.
As if on que, each hooded member raised their heads to the highest seat while a corridor of darkness soon faded to reveal the silhouette of the infamous Marluxia. Unlike the others, his white hood was down and thus revealed his strikingly pink hair. His face was expressionless, emotionless while he surveyed the room. He mentally accounted for each and every Nobody present…
“I am well satisfied that you have all managed to arrive to headquarters at the time I requested,” Marluxia began. A small smirk began to form on his features before he continued. “I was almost concerned that none of you would attend our important meeting, especially since I’ve assigned you all very rigorous missions in other worlds; however, you’ve all proved me to be inaccurate.”
The tension began to rise in the room as each member hung on his every word. No one was accustomed to their new leader. Each was unaware of the way the traitor would lead or his stability. He continued amidst the stark silence of the room. “I am proud to serve as leader of our ‘little’ group. Now, before we continue on to some important matters at hand, I require a status update from each and every one of you. Alert me of your progress in establishing our dominance in this ill-guided realm of lightless oblivion,” Marluxia announced. He took a long pause before continuing, assuring that the next thing he would say was one of the more important points in the matter. “I especially want to hear of the progress made in regards to our war with the Restoration Society.”
The young, and foolish, Naryx was the first to speak. His voice oozed with confidence while his words were draped in ignorance and youth. “I say we go straight to the Restoration Society and annihilate those weaklings,” he shouted. The other Nobodies glared at him from underneath their pure white hoods while the younger Nobody sunk into his chair. “What? There’s like four of them anyway,” he began, swiping his hand at the air. “We could easily take them down with our strength and numbers!”
Silence enveloped the room as they all awaited a response from their superior, Marluxia. At first it was soft, almost charming, and then it escalated to a full blown fit of laughter. Marluxia slightly admired the young Nobody’s tenacity but his laughter was not out of admiration. “I can see you’re quite excited for a parlay against the Society, however, we must not underestimate our opponents shall we?” He teleported before the young Naryx and stood before him, his expression grim and serious. “In case you forgot,” His voice quickly escalated to a shout before he reappeared in his high throne with a puff of rose pedals surrounding him. “A boy, a duck, and a damned dog almost triumphed over Organization XIII.
We must not forget the power Riku possesses. Like the fallen hero, Sora, Riku is also a wielder of the Keyblade. But unlike his fallen comrade, he walks the line between light and darkness… Nonetheless, the Society is unaware of the ability that I now possess.”
Robin's Secret
- This is a Young Justice fanfiction that came about from the realization that Robin's VA is actually Jesse McCartney. Since none of the team members know Robin's secret ID, they are absolutely shocked and excited when he informs the team that he has a secret to share. What is it? How will they react? There is serious hints at the Challant pairing in this one.
Spoiler ShowSo today was the day. Robin said he was going to enlighten the group with a secret he wanted to share, but the team knew better. One of the greatest questions the team had was “Who is the boy behind the sunglasses?” The young heroes knew it was Robin but they didn’t know his secret I.D. They had all become so close that they all practically knew each other’s true identities (well, not everyone’s).
Wally, Artemis, Kaldur, M’gann, and Conner were all gathered around the island in the kitchen. They were all engaged in conversation regarding Robin’s secret; they wondered what his name was or what color his eyes were. Zatanna, on the other hand, sat quietly on the counter. Despite showing some mild excitement, she couldn’t truly join in on the fun. It had almost been a month since her father’s sacrifice, but she was still raw.
She was trying her best to accept Mount Justice as her new home, but it wasn’t the same without her father. M’gann always managed to cheer her up in some quirky way. The Martian consistently made her cookies (although they were burnt most of the time); she introduced Zatanna to some Martian customs, and she even taught the magician how to fly the Bioship. Aside from M’gann, the only other person who actively tried to make her feel welcome was Robin. He always knew what to say to make her feel better; his mutilation of the English language always seemed to strike a chord with her.
“You were all waiting for me?” The team immediately perked up at the sound of his voice. It was none other than the Boy Wonder of the hour. “I guess you guys are feeling the aster today,” he noted before letting out a chuckle. He basked in the attention. Despite not being the leader, everyone knew Robin enjoyed the spotlight. It was like he was born in it. Little did they know…
Robin took a seat on the couch before the television. A grin danced onto his features as his comrades were quick to address the secret at hand.
“So Roooob,” Wally began, taking a seat beside his best friend. “What’s this secret you’re willing to share? Hmm?” Wally gave him a wink before signaling the rest of the team over. Despite everyone knowing that Wally and Robin were the dynamic duo, they never suspected Wally would know Robin’s true I.D. Both boys were thoroughly amused with the reaction the team had in regards to potentially learning Robin’s “secret.”
The thirteen year-old smiled. “Well,” he began, placing his arms behind his head. “Not many people know this about me but—” He moved his hand to his face to adjust his glasses but stopped at the sound of a tiny squeal.
Immediately, everyone turned to face the source of the sound. M’gann was quick to cover her mouth while Artemis attempted to stifle her laughter.
“Was that you, beautiful?” Wally laughed, holding his gut.
“I’m sorry,” M’gann said as the pink filled her cheeks. “I’m just anxious to hear this secret of yours Robin.”
“No need to be sorry. I thought it was kind of cute,” Wally said, a huge smile appearing on his face.
Artemis rolled her eyes before taking a seat in front of Robin. “Alright, let’s just cut to the chase,” she began. She crossed her arms over her chest, observing the intrigued looks on the boys’ faces. “We’re all here to hear what your ‘secret identity’ is.” She made air quotes as M’gann took a seat beside her Earth Sister.
“Yeah, you basically know who we really are. You even know our names, but we don’t know yours.” M’gann brushed her hair behind her ear, the pink in her cheeks slightly fading.
“We’ve been a team for this long,” Kaldur said. “I’m sure your identity will be safe with us.” A smile graced the leader’s face as he placed a hand on the Boy Wonder’s shoulder.
“You can trust us!” The Martian gestured to all the teens in the room: Artemis, Kaldur, Wally, Conner, and Zatanna. “We’re like family.”
Robin looked around at all the anxious faces in the room. So this was it? This was what they wanted? Of course, Robin knew they would interpret his cryptic message in their own way but his identity? The first thing Batman taught him was to keep his identity a secret to protect those closest to him. Granted his teammates were some of the closest people to him, he had to uphold some of Batman’s wishes. The only person who even knew was Wally but that was at a different time.
So, the brunet boy did the one thing he did best: laugh.
Grace Under Pressure
- Another Young Justice inspired fanfic. Wally West has now taken on the mantle of the Flash, a dream that he had always wished for. But it comes at a price. Wally finds himself struggling to accept his new reality as a member of the Justice League seeing that the hole left behind belonged to Barry Allen...
Spoiler ShowA bead of sweat trailed its way down Wally’s concerned, freckled face. He was about to place the mask over his face until he realized he couldn’t do it. His arms failed to cooperate as he attempted to finish suiting up, but he just couldn’t do it. His warm green eyes caught sight of the mirror before him. He froze, shaken by the image that had appeared in his reflection. He felt uneasy, unsure, unprepared. He felt sick.
There was rarely ever a moment that Wally West found himself speechless, but this was one of those times. He wished he could see hope and triumph in his mirrored image, but all he saw was a lie. The Flash that appeared before him was not right. It wasn’t Barry Allen in the suit.
Wally often wondered how Uncle Barry could deal with the unforgiving pressures of being a man and being a hero. Wally often found himself walking a thin tightrope between the two. It had all happened so suddenly. The hero he always aspired to be was finally standing before him, but it wasn’t the man he wanted to be.
Ever since Barry died, Wally refused to accept the mantle. Distraught, angry, confused. The ginger was now proclaimed the fastest man alive and everyone accepted this mere fact; except for the speedster himself. After a few months, he was finally coerced into donning the suit and joining the league. So this was it, he graduated from sidekick to hero. But it felt so wrong. He didn’t earn it. It was given to him because the one man he admired kicked the bucket.
Barry never said to Wally: “One day you’re going to be the Flash. I know it kid.” And in all honesty, that’s all Wally needed. Some sort of confirmation that this is what Uncle Barry wanted. Maybe it was, but a nagging thought in the back of his head told Wally otherwise. There was a slim chance that maybe, just maybe, this isn’t what Barry wanted.
And that’s what scared Wally the most.
He looked at his reflection in the mirror and saw some man dressed as the Flash. It wasn’t Barry, and it sure as hell wasn’t Wally West. The green eyes that stared back at him were wrought with so much emotion until they suddenly went cold. The tiniest mirth in his eyes faded as he raised the mask and put it on over his head.
Betrayal
- Last of Us inspired. We all recently learned that Tess was originally considered to be the main antagonist in the game. This fic explores that possibility and what may have happened to cause Tess to become Joel's enemy.
Spoiler ShowHe could see the lie play out on her face. It was as bright as daylight.
“I have no diddlying idea what happened back there,” she proclaimed, the emotion prevalent in her face. But he had seen it before and he had known it all too well. He listened as Tess began her dangerous dance with the white lie.
Joel continued to keep his calm as best he could as Tess continued to spew lie, after lie, after lie to him. He nodded curtly, but inside he was growing numb. He began to reconstruct “the wall” again. She was the first person in a long time to break him down, and now she was the first person in a while to give him a reason to build again.
A part of him just wanted to leave her there in the woods. He knew she was more than capable of handling herself. Yet another part of him just wanted to end it here…
Stay the Night
- This is a Free! inspired fic! If you don't like Makoto/Haruka, then this is NOT the fic for you. Prepare for fluffiness abound as we learn what happens during Makoto and Haruka's first sleepover.
Spoiler Show“Do you just want to stay the night?”
Shock read all over Makoto’s features as he stumbled over his words, attempting to raise himself from the ground. Although Makoto was much larger and taller than Haruka, it was almost comical to see how easy it was to leave Makoto speechless.
“No, no,” Makoto insisted as his cheeks turned into a soft pink. “I don’t want to impose! I just came by to see if you had made it home alright!” Makoto’s eyes widened as he noted the raised brow on Haru’s expression. Embarrassed, Makoto quickly turned around and was now walking away from Haru’s home. “See you tomorrow!”
Haruka smiled to himself for a moment as Makoto began to leave. “I’ll make food,” Haru called out to his friend, his expression now serious and dead-pan. He had to keep up appearances, of course.
Makoto froze in his tracks as he could hear the audible grumble from his stomach. Even though he knew the only food Haru was going to make would be mackerel, he didn’t mind. Staying for dinner would give him more time to spend with his best friend. And in all honesty, that’s all Makoto ever wanted.
“So,” Haru began again, making his way inside. “Are you gonna stay the night?”
Well that's all I've got for now. Let me know what you think, what you'd like to see more of, and so on. Thanks ♥
