Well since like 4 days ago...everytime i try opening a video or music file on my laptop, WMP or any other player like (E.G: realplayer, itunes, quicktime) have been freezing on me. Iv tested the files on other computers by transfering via flash drive, and they work fine. And another thing, once it freezes, it like says that their is no audio mixer devices on the computer (when a second before their WAS).

Do me a favor, go into your device manager in windows.
See if there are any yello !'s next to any device installed in your machine. If there are, chances are something's f'd up. You should try re-installing the driver for that device first. If it's something small, this'll probably take care of it.
To get to your device manager, go to your control panel and lick on 'system properties' or left click on 'my computer' and select properties. Then click on the 'hardware' tab at the top. Then click on the 'device manager' button..
And try reinstalling your sound drivers.
(Which will be listed as 'sound, video, and game controllers'..)
