No, Days was supposed to have a full-fledged world, with Gideon and Foulfellow as villains. They had bosses and maps all planned out, and then scrapped it.

We won't get it, because Nomura even said that they took it out at the final moment, the only thing found was those avatars for the characters.

well thats what they get for getting the game before the USA/Europe. They get the version that they just recently finished, so USA/Europe get to look at the ups and downs of the Japans version and then fix it for USA/Europe. Then when we get more stuff, Japan gets upset and then they get a final mix, its as simple as that.

itsa a little bit of both to be honest, Japan's S.E. only wants to keep there fans, and to make some more profits, if they did make a final mix, they would probably make more sales then they did with the first game sold.
