Why Lea can use a keyblade.

All the signs point to when Lea first met Ventus and he picked up the wooden "keyblade" and I remember correctly, you need to have a strong heart and a strong connection to the person proposed (don't know if this is the right word or not) the KIC, even if done unintentionally.

It was likely either Mickey or Yen Sid that performed the ceremony. It couldn't have been Ven for a number of reasons, starting with the fact that the practice Keyblade wasn't even real. You also have to be of master level to perform the ceremony (which Ven isn't) and the wielder and the participant must both be holding the Keyblade.

It wasn't really a real Keyblade, though. You also have to be master level/have the power of a master.

It is assumed that King Mickey or Yen Sid gave Lea a Rite of Succession when he first appears at the Mysterious Tower and asks to be trained.

A wielder doesn't need any of that to perform the Inheritance Ceremony on anybody. The person receiving the rite could have the weakest heart in the universe and have nothing to do with the wielder and still have the ceremony done. It does not guarantee they get a Keyblade. All it does is make it possible for them to one day get one IF their heart is strong enough.

As Ruran and Spockanort already stated there was no KIC when Lea picked up the wooden mock Keyblade, but at this point I do consider that scene (whether it was intended to be or not) as foreshadowing.

shouldnt this topic be on KHDDD since he used keyblade on 3D tho im not staff member lol anyway i guess lea can use keyblade because yen sid or maybe the keyblade just choose him like this since we know the keyblade choose his master or like terra he choose riku to wield one so theres to way if you touch the keyblade or being chosen 2nd or the keyblade choose of his own

Staff have already seen and posted in this thread so if they haven't moved it then you can assume it's fine where it is.



Lea has a strong will and has had plenty of involvement with Keyblade wielders so it's not surprising that he himself inevitably became a wielder.
