I don't know, but I think it's Riku's rebirth because he takes the road to light. And I think it's the reverse road of the road that Sora chose

Hey thats good .
I think because the first story you play on COM is Sora's. Then you learn about Riku's. So the story is Reversed in Com. Please don't flame me if I'm wrong.
im pretty sure the Reversed part is because u go back to, from what i understand, a little ways before Soras story began, and the Rebirth part is because u play from Riku's side of the story instead of Soras...thas how it hits me anywho

Riku in KH1 was Dark. The reverse of Darkness is Light which is what Riku wants to be.
At the end of R/R Riku learned that Darkness didn't have to be bad and that he could use it as good. So you could say he was Reborn or something like that XD

To be quite honest, if everyone remembers, Riku was locked into the Darkness when he told Sora to seal Kingdom Hearts. Yet the powers of the Darkness took him to Castle Oblivion. Thus in a strange way, he was reborn, but then, he learns to not reject the light or the darkness. In a sense, he reverses from what he originally thought. "Reverse Rebirth", not walking the road of light or darkness, but the road twoards Twilight.

Rebirth= Because Riku choose a new path with his Darkness, but is no longer against the light.
Basically, I think that called it that because we watch Riku's decision to take the road to Twilight. Instead of Sora's memory adventure.

These are real good theories! But for all of you that say Riku took the road to Twilight, I think he said it was the road to dawn.

they call it reverse/rebirth, cause riku switches between the light and dark.
and just like sora, he awakes back in the normal time as if nothing ever happened in the castle. just in time for kh2, and that is where they kick off the game.

I think it's revise/rebirth because he is thinking it over and he does not want to be dark and rebirth because he switches from light to dark.
