Nahh.. it was just a fight in sora's mind, and the purpose was roxas wanting to make sure sora was good enough for him to give up his existence.
You're half right. It took place in his mind (as he has his Org cloak like in the Twilight Thorne battle [the cloaked version appears a second before the TT]) as Roxas' was struggling for control after Axel's death awoke him.

Roxas's struggle was, as he himself attested, to see why Sora was chosen by the Keyblade. Had Sora been unworthy, the end result would've been that Roxas would've won, and then the end result possibly would've been that he'd have taken over. Even then, however, we can't say he was truly fighting for dominance - he'd have just gotten a disappointment as the answer he was looking for.
As it was, he really was trying to see what Sora was good for in light of Axel's death. The one who'd have ended up as a dominating being would've been a side effect of the struggle.

Well that’s because Roxas wanted to become the main character so he had to fight sora for the right of main character.
But he lost and got a runner-up prize and that’s how Kh 358/2 was born

I don't know wasn't Roxas frustated and upset that his best friend Axel just faded away, by helping Sora (opening a poral to the world that never was) and all Roxas's frustrations reached a peak and he fought Sora.

Axel's death stirred Roxas inside of Sora and the now-awake Roxas decided to fight his other in a battle to determine who would become the dominant entity. He lost and now he's content with Sora being in charge.

I support this theory

Oblivine represents Sora's memory(and what not) for Riku

Oathkeeper represents Sora's memory(and what not) for Kairi

No real proof, or anything to back this. It's just kind of a guess.

there is proof of this look at oath keeper the sharp edge things looks like Kairis good luck charm she gave sora and oblivion represents riku .

The Oathkeeper's design is actually the last thing to derive relations to Kairi from o.o and the edge hardly looks like her good luck charm.

If u look at the good luck charm and oathkeeper u will notice they have the same colors
