Because i really enjoyed the story but everyones like days was aweful
Why does everyone think days was such a bad game?

I think the biggest reasons are:
1. They don't like repetitive missions.
2. They hate Xion and think she's pointless.

Not everyone thinks it was an aweful game but because of how much hype it got (being basically the first new KH game since KH2) it didn't quite live up to expectations.

From what I've seen, many people just didn't like it for a few major reasons
1/ Xion was too convienent of a character
2/ It dragged on
3/ It was mostly just a fan based game for people who liked the Org.
I liked it, it was a nice background to the bad guys.

I think the main reasons are some or all of the following:
-Xion
-Repetitive Missions
-Bad Pacing/Structure
-Not enough of a focus on the other members of the Organization
-Xion

I personally loved it, and hold it as the 2nd best KH game thus far (having not yet played BBS)

cause b4 days roxas was a DW badass nobody who abandoned the org. to learn more of sora and his keyblade, after days he became a xion fanboy emo bitch that was a jackass to axel (not that i give a damn bout axel but still annoyed me)
it was bout xion not the org.
roxas's character development was better in his 6 days of kh2, in days it seemed to revert.
the missions were boring, not repetitve persay just boring as fuck.
the enemy hp was an aggravation not a challenge.
flying in neverland makes want to drown roxas.
i hate level panels.
the story drug out to long, which isnt bad if the stories actually good.
the entirerty of days was unneeded and only added a useless character (xion) to the already complicated xehanort arc.
siax was a dick.
wonderland and its musci based heartless (pink concesrto etc.) was just....aagggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the fact that they couldve made xion so much more awesome than a "imperfect sora replica"/puppet -_-
....thats all i got for now....

Personally, I loved the game. A LOT.
i'd rather get bbs and wait years for kh3 than get sida games taht dont do shit for the story or my affection for the series.
in my opinion kh2 wasnt good either, they shouldve made kh2 roxas's story rather than make a days that way kh3 coulve kicked off with sora waking up and there be no org. like a fresh start.

kh2 had no real purpose.
there is no real conflict until near the end, then its like
'oh stop killing the heartless, someone is trying to make (make? or free? hrmmm :/ ) kingdom hearts again.... oh okay... lets fight him and go home then lalalala'

the sad thing of kh2 is that it couldve been good but was only decent at best, sure its good for passing time and the extras in the final mix are great but unlike kh1 or bbs i didnt feel any climax/conflict.

yeah. it was all bad, character development bad, story bad, gameplay repetitive, and easy
and do you freakin remember all the times it got delayed!

Hm... I enjoyed Days. It's my least favorite in the series, but that's not a bad thing.
it wasnt good enough to fan fiction.
it wasnt really on delay, what taht was was nomura going thru forums getting bits and peices of pre-teen girls fan fiction and mixing it and horribly failing in the process.
i dont even consider it a fav.
it wasnt? hmm I remember it being put off quite allot, particularly when were supposed to get in September, then December, then we finally got it in March. but it was awhile ago, so maybe I remember it wrong :?

ever since CoM nomura has been getting worse with each game
bbs was the first one to even come close to kh1's epicness, i blame it mostly on SE.
