Who is the most powerful "good" character in the series

I think it's important to consider not only what powers each character is capable of, but also what weaknesses they may have and could be exploited. In particular, I'm talking about Terra and Sora, the two characters who have failed the MoM for their susceptibility to darkness. Let's say that Terra and Aqua were equal in strength; I'd still personally rank Aqua ahead because she has one weakness less.

Now, if I had to choose between Aqua and Riku, whose survivals have become testaments to their mastery of their weaknesses, I'd be more inclined to choose Riku over Aqua. Not really a choice I'm even remotely sure of, though; it's between Aqua's feat of holding up to Terra-Xehanort and Riku's dual-wielding and harboring of XH's power (as Rikunort, anyways).

Well... doesn't Riku have the powers of both light AND darkness? Not to mention he also has passed the mark of mastery before Sora did. So that would make him the most powerful I think.

I would like to think that Sora or Riku are the strongest. They do seem to have the most development and just what we've seen from the two of them, either of them could easily be the strongest.

Roxas seems like he's pretty powerful emotionally. He had to put up with losing so much and being told that he wasn't even a person even though he had feelings. I thought that it was really sad that DiZ kept telling bashing him like that in the 2nd one. So to me, I would say that Roxas is pretty strong. :3

We've also gotta keep in mind that Sora has 'reset' twice now. His overall fighting style is that of a scrapper/jack of all trades. Whoever the playable character is will vary in strength.

It's also fair to mention Riku was reset in DDD making him harder to judge as well.

I don't think that resetting necessary makes him weak though. I think that the bond he has with his friends is what makes him so strong and possibly the strongest light.

Oh power of feelings, tis the most powerful tool any character can have. :3 But seriously, that's what makes Sora strong, I believe. He does hold great potency for being the "strongest", but at his current level, I just don't see him being THE strongest. :/

Who would you call the strongest then? With all the connections to people Sora has, I would think he is the strongest.

Out of those guys? Hmm, that's a real close one, but I say this just cause I think he has shown to be really powerful in the past, Terra. He's the oldest or second oldest and to me he just has more power. Whether you agree or not is something I do not know, but truthfully, I think Terra is the strongest of those guys in the picture above.

well if we're going by experience then terra is the oldest so he would win. And then after him aqua, and ven.

I actually was just using the picture in reference to Sora's connections. A good number of good guys are there though. Anyway, I can definitely see Terra as being up there. There's his Lingering Sentiment. Could that be at all representative of how powerful he would be if he were to come back whole?

But Terra did lose to Aqua on the mask of mastery test (i know it was rigged) so does that mean Aqua is more held together mentally in battle compared to Terra?

I think to include Eraqus wouldn't be fair. Unless we can include him. I was just under the impression that the characters we could only include in this were the younger ones. If not, then I would definitely consider Eraqus pretty damn strong.

Eraqus is probably much stronger than Terra, and if it wasn't for the darkness Terra would have lost that scrap with Eraqus.

Probably still Eraqus for a few reasons
1. Eraqus has more experience and wisdom (because he's older)
2. Eraqus is a keyblade master and Sora failed his exam
