Who feels like some things are just wrong...

Hi Kingdom Hearts Folks! It's a pleasure to finally make part of this little community made of KH fans, after having following this forum for a while as a guest I finally decided to make part of it.

For my first thread I wanted to share with you and read your thoughts about some things regarding bbs.

I was truly excited at first when it was announced and I still am but some things about it are just wrong...

First I started to play KH2 again a while ago to remember everything (can't believe how I forgot a lot about it) and I noticed that when you reach Yen Sid tower Donald and Goofy say something like "oh so this is where the king's Master lives"

Wasn't I surprised when I saw online a magazine's pic of bbs showing Donald and Goofy in their former costumes in Yen Sid tower (outside) watching Mickey practice with his keyblade?!

What the hell... If they were there before why they act in KH2 like they never saw the place?!

Do you think this was a mistake of the development team?! I thought all the details about existing games should be revisited in order to make sequels and prequels it seems they forgot this detail. Or perhaps Nomura Tetsuya has something in his sleeve for Donald and Goofy (erasing memories again?! doubt it)

If you notice any other “mistake” like this by comparing magazine pictures of bbs with events of the main series please let me and the others know.

By second I would like to say how sad I ‘am for Nomura being ignoring characters the fans are very fond of!!!

I'm a big fan of kingdom hearts mainly because it's a crossover of two universes (Disney and Final Fantasy series) I ‘am a big fan of FF and I know that Squall Leonhart aka Leon, Aerith, Yuffie, Cid, Cloud, Sephiroth and Tifa were very important characters in KH1 and 2 plot (well Tifa not really), they helped Sora so many times (not sephiroth lol) and they revealed Hollow Bastion aka Radiant Garden was once their home and in the second one they are trying to rebuild it so why not including them in a game so important as bbs?! It would not hurt to put them there hanging around the town as a gang of young kids; instead they bring just ONE FF character which is not related with the other titles?! Okay I'm glad to see Zack in KH but I would rather to have the other ones back instead... for the plot sake.

Nomura stated in a recent interview they wouldn't be there because it would turn the game overloaded with characters and he would have to give each one a story (something among those lines) well duh... Kingdom Hearts 2!!! It was packed with FF characters and it worked just fine.

By third other thing I dislike about BBS is... organization somebodies... Only the first eight members are making the return right?! That's horrible!!! To be honest I don´t care much about Demyx or Luxord but... Marluxia and Larxene!!! Come on!!!

Marluxia was a very important member of the organization since he was the ruler of castle oblivion and one of the main antagonists/villains of chain of memories.

And I would like to see Larxene somebody because she is the only female member of the organization (xion doesn't count for obvious reasons) which at my eyes make her unique and special...

I wonder if Xemnas somebody aka Xehanort will appear as well (hope so he is an important character).

Also don't you guys think the organization somebodies age was chosen in a randomly way?

I agree with Lea looking a lad, bet he is 14/15 in bbs like Sora/Roxas was in kh1/2, but saix looked older than Axel so why giving Isa the same age it seems?! Also Zexion seems to have the same age axel does but in bbs he seems to be younger than lea... Beats me... Saix and Zexion age at my eyes are just wrong in bbs.

Hope you guys don't think I'm complaining cause I'm not, constructive criticism that is, and more like a outburst to know what do you think and if you agree with me or not in these topics. Of course I will buy it with a smile from ear to ear and enjoy it but I will also think some things are just not quite right...

He's not that important than the other 6

Just cause she's female doesnt mean she needs a role in BBS

Not if he was 17-19. That would work. He looks like he is 7-9 in BbS.

Axel and Saix could just be around 25. Not a big deal. Nothing needs to be explained.

EDIT: I mean, where did Leon first meet King Mickey? In Radiant Garden? See, that's why BbS needs more FF characters. So that the unknown parts of the story can be revealed.

Could very well be a retcon, or they just forgot. It had been about ten years, more actually, and for all we know they'd just been there once. On the inside only, no less.

Tough. That's just how it is. Besides, we're getting more characters that more people could be more fond of. You can't just keep using the same old ones for fanservice.

First off, it is primarily a Disney game, with the FF characters just "visiting". Also, Cloud and Sephy haven't been very important in any of the games, ironically, except for Cloud being a plot point that could be used by anyone. It just wouldn't be practical base too much of the new game around the characters who we know are there, when we could just focusing on other ones, like Kairi and her grandmother, who we knew existed, but didn't know what they were doing. Sure, they could stick young Leon in the background, why not, but fosucing too much on them doesn't make too much sense. They'd be children practically, and we know they're off good for the moment.

Which is why Cloud and Sephiroth and Tifa and Aerith and Rikku and Pain and all the rest of them were SO pivotal to the plot. Only Squall, Yuffie, and Auron did anything, if at all.

Not really. They need to look an age relative to how old their Nobodies were and when they turned into them.

The Ienzo little boy thing is up in the air, so don't try to question it unless you really want to think too much about things.

I'm getting the conclusion that some people here think it’s cool acting macho (no offence) in the sense that women in videogames (and perhaps in real life) are inferior as fighters and not only.

Larxene, Kairi and only God knows who else are not taken seriously just because they are women... It's so ridiculous that don't even bother me...

And then this opinion that Kingdom Hearts is all about Disney when it is obvious that it’s a crossover between Square-Enix and Disney franchises, being developed by square-enix gave them the liberty to create new and unique characters in order to create a new story that would be connected somehow with Disney stories… FF characters appear as well to make square enix to be noticed as part of the project too.

Some FF characters are important to the story and if you say they aren’t revisit traverse town until it gets clear and the same for radiant garden…

And for the ones who didn’t noticed… Zack is just replacing Cloud and Auron as a fighter in the coliseum (mostly cloud); instead of wannabes perhaps the real thing would be better. He is new but is not like he going to bring anything new to the story.

No sir, its a well known joke around here. The joke was based on how Kairi used Riku's gayblade in an un-professional way, so no macho act. :/

Sora was more experienced barely had he received the keyblade because he played nothing more than sword fights with riku since he was a little boy, playing with his wooden sword gave him the skills to use a real one...

Also Riku only had one sword/key blade "way to the dawn", I'm sure that feminine keyblade was given to him by someone (mostly the king or DIZ) else to entrust to Kairi when the right time would come.

your second sentence is interesting. the keyblade must be symbolizing her childhood place, radiant garden and it doesn't seem likely that riku was there with her before.

xion was able to kill like a pro even though she barely had her keyblade so it could be possible kairi can too.

Don't you think being on that island Kairi might have tried learning, too? I mean, everyone but her fought. And when she was given the chance she could have tried better. She got the chance when

I don't think you get the fact that it's already confirmed to be Riku's Keyblade that it's his and no one else's. Besides, I think you just believe it isn't his because it's girly. When look at Sora. He had some of the girliest Keychains ever. Sweet memories, Lady Luck, etc. If it was like another WtD or a cooler Keyblade I doubt you would be saying this.
