HOW DO I USE IT!?
I'm far too simple minded for such as system, I'm the guy who quit playing FFX for 6 months because I didn't get the sphere grid. Yes, I'm that retarded.rofl @ people who think FF8 is hard.
Understandable though, I used to be in that mess as well. I didn't get shit the first time round. However, if you understand the (awesome in my opinion) junction system and go about collecting magic AND G-Forces, you can swift through the game easily and pretty much make yourself invincible. Literally. That's probably the only disadvantage; how you can make yourself RIDICULOUSLY strong.
I had no problems with the difficulty of FFs, up until I got XII that is. My god, I don't get it - after each mission and new region I stop by, I get the impression I'm to bloody level up by 10 levels if I want to keep up. WTF.
And before anyone says anything, I *do* get armor. D: But I get the impressoin it does jackshit.
Heeey, same here actually >: I quit X for the exact same reason and haven't picked it up since (that being 3 years, or something of the like). Admittedly I also quit it because I was just tired/bored of bloody saving Yuna's arse along with the characters simply failing at intriguing me. I mean how many times has that damned tart got to get her ass tied in a mess before we actually MOVE on to something else? That being said, the whole thing plain bored me shitless and failed GREATLY at making me want to carry on.I'm far too simple minded for such as system, I'm the guy who quit playing FFX for 6 months because I didn't get the sphere grid. Your levels in FFXII mean nothing really the only thing it really helps with it HP, it not like the other FF's where everything is increased as you level up. If I can send Lv.25 Basch out into the Feywood were the monsters are on lv.40 with the Defender and Carbineer mail and he survives then that just shows that what you equip is more important than levels. You can level up just as a percussion though too. I really don't see how FFXII is hard at all.

LOLZ Yuna fails..I rather like XII since there is no real damsel in distress even when Ashe is taken hostage she wont go down without a fight and I can't really see her as the classic distressed type of girl. Hell even when Penelo got captured she didn't go OMFG VAAN SAVE ME!!!!!!!!AHHH!! she's just kind like WTF MAN?!? THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHIT!!! -escapes- and then Fran well come on she'll kick your ass just for looking at her wrong..maybe ok no but she could screw it she would.Heeey, same here actually >: I quit X for the exact same reason and haven't picked it up since (that being 3 years, or something of the like). Well yeah you have no choice if you want money you got to kill thing unless you just get the firefly thing and don't level up but that's if your playing the 122333 game or if you just don't want to level up. Most people think that you have to level up just like in every other FF in order to beat the next level but in XII you really don't unless you want to,kinda like in FFX when you didn't have real levels in XII you don't have real progress with levels except for HP. If you really look at the levels of the monsters are the clue that the levels don't really matter, some monsters are on like lv.40 and only do like 100-200 damage or even less at times to you if you have the right stuff. It's only hard if you go on what you know about past FF's.Either way, you're kinda obliged to slash monsters for the sake of getting a bit of dough. /: Buying equipment is another issue, as it tends to be scarce. The only way going about it is bloody going out to kill monsters, which at the same time includes leveling up. >_> I dunno, maybe I'm retarded but this problem seems to go for just about the majority of people I've talked to.

That's why I said screw it in the end because I know she wouldn't care but damn it I love seeing her attack things with anger. berserk+Farn=Awesome..LOL! Actually, it you looked at her wrong, she wouldn't care. In the game there's a kid named Johm who walks kind of close to the Sandsea in Rabanastre. If you talk to him after you leave the Barhiem Passage at the beginning of the game, he'll tell you that he bumped into Fran "in a bad place" and she didn't care! She just kept on walking!
Back on topic, I'd say FFXII was the hardest. After all the times I tried to play through the game, I STILL havent beaten it.
