Well I keep seeing that it is coming over here in the Fall of this year. I really don't understand why you guys would waste your money on an import. I understand you want to play it and everything. But that is just extra money that you are throwing away really. But that is my opinion, don't take the wrong way or anything. I am just a money saver type of person.

You mean besides the fact that:
1.) Square-Enix has not confirmed a US release.
2.) The first Final Mix did not come here.
3.) Square Enix Representatives say that all the magazines and information giving this "Fall" release are purely speculation.
4.) SE is concentrating on the Japan release right now and
5.) If a US release is confirmed, I could easily sell the game before it comes out, and make a profit and still be able to buy the American version?

We had a Japanese Foriegn Exchange Student, and I remember him having a Japanese PS2, and never taking it when he moved out. . . . I'll ask him on MSN.

Anyways, what kind of ps2 do you have?
If you have a skinny one, you'll need
-Magic Keys
-Swap Magic 3 or Swap Magic Coder
If you have a fat ps2, you'll need
-Swap Cover or Slide Tool
-Swap Magic 3 or Swap Magic Coder.
The SlideTool/SwapCover/MagicKeys allows you to swap discs and let you play imports.
Swap Magic boots your PS2 into accepting imports.
You'll need both, depending on what PS2 you have.
No modchip needed.

I got my copy and Play-Asia, I don't care about that whole price difference, I'm not the one paying for it so it doesn't really matter to me :3 (thank god for having upper middle class parents)

Lol, the dummy part was for effect :toungesmile: , but yeah I have the fat ps2 so I guess I'll need the slide tool (cuz the tutorial on it makes it look easy), and swap magic 3. I'll check more out tonight.
I think i should pre-order the game. Now all I need to do is take a japanese class...

It's not as easy as you think, really.
First, if you get a slide tool, you need to pop the cover of your PS2 disc tray off. That's the only way it'll work. I popped it off, and everything's ready for FM+ =)
Hopefully, I'm going to get my copy from the GameStop that is a block down the street!
