He says in regard to BBS: "The new enemy is not a Heartless, or a Nobody, because the story takes place before even they appear."

If there where not Heartless before BBS, then everyone's heart was pure?

So, there was no darkness?

This seems to contradict what Pooh says in the preview for Final Mix+.

Well Heartless have always kidna existed, but they weren't discovered untill Xehanort(AtW's Apprentice) discovered them, that's all to my understanding.

Heartless themselves came into creation via Xehanort experimenting on the hearts of subjects. Birth By Sleep is before the appearance of Heartless and Nobodies in general. Of course I believe there is some fault to that rule. But being blunt, they did not exist during Birth By Sleep's timeframe I would assume.

Heartless didn't always exist. Heartless were created by xehanort when he started experimented on hearts. The emblems were the ones produced later.

Darkness was always in people's heart, but it was always just stuck in the heart. Darkness wasn't taken out of the heart and manifested into heartless until Xehanort's experiment.

the pureblood heartless always existed but not in huge quantities. once xehanort created artificial ones those multiplied an mass produced an thats y theyre not that important in bbs but since darkness is eternal and heartless r darkness logic dictates they existed an always have. of course thats my opinion

So, Before Xehanort's experiments, if a person's heart was consumed by darkness a heartless wouldn't hve been created?

If so, then why were Pureblood heartless created everywhere in the universe when someone turned evil, just because Xehanort made some.

Be interesting to see the whole being things if that turns out to be true, but then Sora is a result of being a Heartless and a Nobody combined, as is Kairi and they both seem normal.

I think Heartless maybe always existed but in very very few quantities... I mean, heartless born when someone dives in darkness... If they don't become heartless, what then? Well, seems impossible, or the new ennemy... If it is not the new ennemy, seems logical few heartless always existed.
